Absolute Aromas Clove Bud Essential Oil, 10 ml

I was having hell with one of my teeth that the nerve was dying inside and waiting for an appointment for a root canal (nasty!) I've been using Essential Oils for years for both beauty use and in a diffuser in my home. But I didn't have any Clove oil in my oils box. After browsing around the web looking for a quick fix for the tooth pain I had I read that Clove oil is marvelous as a general pain killer for teeth. I thought I'd give it a try and knew it would be here next day with my Prime membership, so took a chance. It did work! I put a drop on the end of a cotton bud and applied over and around my poorly tooth and within about half an hour I was a lot more comfortable. Though a lot of places do recommend you mix 3 drops of Clove Oil with a teaspoon of Olive Oil before applying. I didn't do this, I was in so much pain, I wanted the Clove Oil neat. It did the trick. Now I've had the root canal and a crown on that pesky tooth, I will keep a bottle of this with me at all times. A good essential oil to take out in my back pack when out hiking, also smells nice in my diffuser.

Using the anaesthetic properties of this natural oil works wonders. If you are squeamish look away now: We keep tropical fish and use clove oil to humanely euthanise sick fish. Used in the correct concentration it firstly puts the fish into a deep sleep and then euthanises them without any fuss. I love animals so much I find it really hard to put them out of their misery but taking a fish to the vets is a little above and beyond what is necessary so clove oil is perfect. It is a much calmer, easier method than what most fish keepers will do to a sick fish and I know they felt no pain. And obviously us humans can also make good use out of these anaesthetic properties for toothache etc. Nature at it's finest.

It is really strong. I find that it I use too much it will irritate. I cleared dark spot form my face within two days and this was an unintentional use. I use it for coughs oil pulling and massage with sweet almond oil. Its lovely with peppermint oil. If there is a chesty cough cough I use it with peppermint and it works like a treat.

I bought this product bexause my impacted wisdom tooth decided to flare up during the Covid pandemic/lockdown. I had days of toothache so I bought this product in desperation. I have been putting two drops of clove oil into the lid and adding a bit of water, then i tip the contents onto my toothbrush with some toothpaste. I then brush my teeth as normal. It is amazing how much it dulls any pain /disomfort. I am using the product this way most nights to curb a trip to the dentist. Highly recommend to anyone with toothache problems.

I wouldn't be without this. Had to give mine to my Daughter who was frantic with pain. Two paracetamol and a clove oil application, and she was able to sleep??? I have sworn by this for more years than I can remember. My Grannie always used it. The delivery was FANTASTIC. I ordered it last night... it was here just after lunch. Saves £1's on going to the dentist. Although an abscessed tooth has to be removed, obviously. I totally recommend this one, and the price is right. Idrip four/five drops into the hole in the cap, then soak a baby bud for a few seconds, then apply. It stings at first, but oh... the blessed relief.
