Got this for my Easter for my train obsessed autistic 10 yo son. He is going to LOVE it! Nice thick heavy book. Good pages will hold up to use. Soo much information and pictures. I feel it’s balanced well there. I knew this brand would deliver and I was right. Get it if you’re on the fence. Great for you or a gift.

I got this book as a Christmas present for a train enthusiast and it did not disappoint. The best feature of this book is its plentiful and clear photos. It could make a great coffee table book as it would hold the attention of someone who doesn’t know much about trains because of the captivating photos but also has great information for the train enthusiast who wants to learn more about each train. I purchased because it was a Smithsonian book and I am glad that it exceeded my expectations.

For all train lovers, this book can't be beat!! What a beautiful volume*****!!

This book is absolutely exceptional in terms of its historic content. Quality of the paper is very heavy, excellent quality finish to the pages and the print. It's heavy binding is very resilient, nothing bad to say. Absolutely wonderful. Will last for years for my nephew, thank you very much.

Bought this for my son who is a train enthusiast and he cannot put it down. Hard back cover. Excellent find.
