Worked great to clean out all the jets in my Ariens snow thrower carb. Brand new machine and my stupid brother in law fills it up with old gas from a filthy old tank. Ten minutes later the thing is surging up and down. What a tool....my brother in law that is. This wire set also a great tool. Even the smallest jets in that carb didn't require the smallest wire here. I have really no idea about small engine carbs but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and watched a couple YouTube vids and bam! Expert. Dropped the carb and stripped it down. Scraped out every orifice I could find. Couple blasts of compressed air and put it back together. Now she is running smooth and I feel like....I dunno.....is there a famous celebrity mechanic? If so, I felt like that guy.

Haven't had a chance to use them yet but they seem of adequate quality .......... the keys are all attached to one "rail" to prevent them from getting lost ...... kind of like a spark plug gauge with flat blades for measuring gaps on plugs .........except these of course are round for clearing/cleaning holes in carburetors. An improvement of significance would require separate handles and long extended tools (like a screwdriver kit) and I imagine that would cost many times as much. Good basic kit.

Bought this for my dad and he loves it it's so hard to clean carbs but this thing makes the job much easier ! Well worth the money my dad loves it and you will be shocked how dirty your carb really is ! Well worth the buy!

Worked great to help clean my 1998 ZX9R carbs. When used with a flashlight and carb cleaner, helps to get rid of main/pilot circuit clogs. On Keihin CV carbs, shine the flashlight through the brass fitting holes on the top side of the carb while looking into pilot/main jet holes in the fuel bowl. On my bike, this seems to be where the blockages are. Run the largest wire that fits through both holes, spray carb cleaner through the holes (protect your eyes), and you should be back in business!

Ordered and returned many torch tip cleaners because they were too big to fit small engine carb side jets. These fit the tiniest of orifices! Pricey for a reason. Bought three. Thank you K+L!!!

Item received is not what is pictured, it's possible K&L has cheaped out on the latest run of this tool but I'd expect the listing to show the new tool not the old one. The difference matters here because the product I receved dose not included the smallest and most often used wire part of the tool, "the one held with the bit of copper".
