I was pretty sure this stuff wouldn't work
Okay. I was pretty sure this stuff wouldn't work. Boy, was I wrong. A little back story--I rescued a ten month old dog that I was told had been housebroken. They lied. I took her home and within a week she started soiling my brand-new carpet. I worked on housebreaking her and it seemed to work. Except at night. She'd get up and use the carpet to poop. This would happen several times a week. I ended up trying puppy pads. Unfortunately, she did not like them and would find another spot to go in the room. Next, I tried keeping her in her crate. Didn't work as she had no problems going in her crate, then sleeping in it all night. Next morning, I had to clean her and the crate. I was desperate, and about to replace my carpet with hard wood flooring, when I decided to do a little research. I found this. I didn't hold out much hope, but thought it was worth a try. So, the first night I sprayed this stuff all over my rug. And woke up the next morning to a dry floor. That was three months ago and she has not had one accident. It's a great product and a lot cheaper then getting rid of my carpet.

Not a Deterrent
Due to the low stars I didn’t have high hopes, but there were some great reviews and so I figured I would at least try it out for the money. It did not work. In fact, it appeared to do the opposite. My puppy peed more in a 30 minute span than he had in the last 6-12 hours, and all directly where/near I had sprayed the No-Go. It is as if the scent bothered him and rather than avoiding it he tried to mask it with his urine. Point of clarity - other reviews suggested you can spray your rugs / areas with this as a deterrent. The bottle specifically says it is not a deterrent. It just cleans areas with prior accidents from their smell so that the existing smell doesn’t ENCOURAGE pets to pee again in that spot. It doesn’t DISCOURAGE them from peeing there in the future, and doesn’t do anything for spots that weren’t previously urinated on. The spray does have a nice scent for humans. Wish I could return

Nozzle doesn’t work well
The spray nozzle doesn’t really work but this spray seemed to work on my rugs as my dog does not pee on them anymore.

This product works
This is probably my first review here (i am prime user for years, but don’t like to write reviews).. I have a few expensive antique rugs and recently got Toy Australian Shepherd puppy. I love my rugs and my puppy loved it too👿. I had to walk behind her all day long or make sure she is by my side. If i am home she has to be near me, otherwise i knew she might be going for her duty and it was very distracting bc i am working from home a lot and my ears and brain all the time were concentrated on “where did she go”. If i went to the stores i had to keep he either in a crate, which i hate to do to her or took her with me, bc i didn’t want her to litter on my darling rugs.. i saw some not positive reviews about this product, but had to try my luck. Guess what: since i sprayed it, she doesn’t go even close to those rugs. I do spray it every morning to make sure the smell is still there. And it smells pretty good for humans. I definitely will buy more of this product. It works for me.

Inconclusive data
Not sure if it is placebo effect or not, but for the price, I just try it out. I sprayed on the carpets everytime my puppy had accidents. The weirdest part is that he likes it, he get jumping towards the mist it when I sprayed and lick the carpet. And of all available spaces other than grass, he likes going on the carpet (vs linoleum/wood/concrete). Here's what I did: If he pees, after dabbing up with paper towel as much pee I can, I sprayed upholstery cleaner, scrubbed it and dab those up as well. Then, I sprayed this over a wider area. If he poops, after discarding poop, I sprayed bleach, dab that, spray upholstery cleaner and scrub. Dab thag up and then spray this over it. I guess it sort of work until the scent go away? Because he still does it anyway. I have a corgi and the potty training gets easier with him (thankfully). This may help but you need to use other methods to reinforce potty training not to go in the house. Since I have a backyard, I hang a bell to teach him to ring it whenever he needs to go out. But he will still pee if I didn't get it in time.

Not worth the money/time
While this product has a pleasant scent, it just doesn’t work. I was hoping this product would at least deter our new puppy from having an accident again in the same areas but I don’t believe the scent lingers long enough for it to be effective. The best, most effective thing to do is just be consistent while you potty train your puppy. Keep an eye on them and take them out frequently.

Thank you for saving my rugs!
While our Yorkie puppy would pee on her pee pad, pooping was a different story. She often had two rugs that seemed to be her favorite for poo time. I would use the stain and odor removers every time I picked it up, but it seemed to never keep her from returning to the areas. At least that was the case before I tried this! Now, it did not work on the first time I used it on those small areas, but I kept using this spraying over the entire rugs every few days and I also put a bit in the water of my Bissell Crosswave before running it, and I can honestly say she never uses the rugs for her potty areas anymore! Some say Yorkies are hard to train, but our youngest is now one year old and fully potty trained to her pee pad and also enjoys going outside to potty with her big brother.

Waste of money- ineffective
This was nothing more than a waste of money. I have a husky puppy. We’re potty training without puppy pads and following the advice of trainers specific to the breed. He keeps peeing in one area of my living room- right now my white carpet. I immediately clean with an enzyme stain remover and I shampoo almost daily. I got this to help and it made zero difference. He continues to go in the same spot even after just spraying. I’ve used an entire bottle with no change. Don’t waste your money.

It does work, but you need to reapply 2-3 times a day to the desired area. Once the intensity of the smell fades, your pup will regain interest in going potty there, especially if he's already gone there in the past. Use liberally, and frequently, and it definitely does help.
