this isn't the wood and spice one is it?

Wood and spice is actually pretty accurate. It has a sort of medicinal old school smell. My wife loves the smell and I get compliments all the time. Plus it has a nice sheen and moisturizers well.

Is this made in Italy?

Hi! Thank you for your question. Yes, it is made in Italy. Hope this helps!

can you use it as a pre shave oil?

I've used it for that before and it worked pretty well.
