More expensive than other tools but works really well. I made a full 24 port patch panel and a few wall sockets and cable-to-cable couplers without an issue. One useful thing thing is that each blade has a cutting and non-cutting variant. I used a non-cutting one in cases where the cables were too short so I wouldn't have a second chance would something go wrong.

Good product, we have used lots of them. Seem to do the job well.

Ideal for the job I needed to use them for, fitting home security PoE cameras. Had a few failed attempts due to poor technique, but after watching a youtube video where they demonstrated the complete straightening out of the twisted pairs and a gentle bending and massaging of the wires into the correct sequence and I was soon crimping like a pro. I can't rate these highly enough for price for the home DIY'er. Some crimpers a criticism was that the blades blunted quickly, for me the blades cut fine every time, just need to know which way round to hold them when using the different blades.

Set up new network, made short work and much cleaner/faster A+++++ worth every penny.

UPDATE: Thought I'd update my review for this piece of kit now it's been used a bit. Still works great, and saves me a ton of time with the wire stripper - all you have to do is twist and it's gone. Super simple to use once you get the knack of it. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cable crimper, and my colleagues at work are swapping their own ones for these. Fantastic piece of kit. Feels sturdy in your hand. The various blades do the job quickly. Crimps the connectors firmly.

These crimpers work really well, and I am impressed at the quality. The cable cutting and stripping tools work extremely well and make prepping the cable super easy. The ratcheting mechanism has saved my bacon a few times too. It's great when you accidentally slip or need to adjust your grip, and ensures you crimp correctly every time. I'd definitely recommend these.

Brought this tool to help terminate approx 48 Cat6a terminals in my home, while this tool did a good job of punching the cables into the contacts, it only cut 1 or 2 cables itself over the entire project - I still had to go back with wire-cutters and trim the excess cable.

La he sustituido por dos de plastico que tenia para crimpar RJ11 y RJ45. He probado desde UTP de 8 hilos, pares telefonico y manguera telefonica de 4 hilos y todo perfecto y sencillo. Sirve para RJ11 4 contactos RJ12 6 contactos y RJ45. Introduces la manguera y al mismo tiempo que la corta debes de hacer un giro de muñeca para que marque la funda exterior. Despues solo con tirar sacas la funda quedando la longitud de hilos necesaria para los conectores. Yo para ver bien como funcionaba pele varios formatos de hilos y crimpe un conector RJ11 y RJ45. Es la mejor manera para ver el correcto funcionamiento y sacarle todo el partido necesario a la herramienta. Hecho de menos que se pueda quedar cerrada pero lo he solucionado colocando una cadenita de lavabo que la mantenga cerrada para poder guardarla mejor. El material de muy buena calidad y el acero de una gran dureza. Me costo bastante el poder taladrarla con una broca de 3mm para colocar la cadenita.

I previously bought a cheaper tool and It made my job a mess, and then Immediately I looked for another good tool which is not so expensive, this was the best fit and once it arrived I noticed it is a really good quality and well built tool. this helped me to complete my job easily.
