Well worth it
I brought this book for my brother who is at college studying fashion. Many of his class mates had a head start on him in terms of their creative and artistic backgrounds and, being relatively new to the subject, he struggled with how he could best communicate his ideas. This book has helped build his confidence and has opened his eyes to the many ways in which to express his ideas and creativity which has seen him excel in his studies.I think this book provides a great foundation for fashion students, especially those who are new to the subject, whilst providing a platform for further study and exploration.

This book is not what it says it is!!!
I was lucky I purchased this book for a realy cheap price! If you are ahome seamster that has not drawn a basic proportional fashion figure then -Don't buy this, dont bother. This is not what it says it is.If you are seeking to learn to draw fashion, take a university course, this book will not help you until you know how to draw a fashion figure!!!!The book is very pretty, but techniques, principles, no!Mostly it is for those that can draw a fashion figure already. Once you can do that, this book will help give you ideas on how to modify your basic model.Again I must warn you that there is no Basic model here! There should have been. This book is not for the home seamster who wants to depict the ideas in their head onto paper and has never drawn before! It is geared toward people who are much more experienced with drawing and designing. This book gets only one star for wrong title. This is too expensive a bookfor this kind misleading title - Perhaps it should have been, "Advanced Designing Ideas for Aspiring Fashion Artists".
