I've worn it where the temperature has dropped to - 3 , - 4 and found it to be adequate .

Size small alpha jacket is 25inch not including collar +27inch with I would suggest if you normally get xsmall get a small in this style American sizes are smaller than UK . I'm only 5ft 2 and small is perfect for me ( brilliant jacket well made ) worth every penny .
