Warmed my little pool up in no time at all. Helped keep out some debris. This is a must for anyone who likes a warm pool.

This pool cover is the best one i have had yet. It fits my pool (18ft) perfect and heats the water extremely well. I've had covers that heated my pool before but they only heated the top 6 inches or so. This cover heats the water to 90F on really hot days and it heats it all the way to the bottom! Even on a cooler day it heats the water to the point that i can finally use my pool without shivering. I went from only using my pool on the hottest of days to wanting to get into the pool all the time. My only negative is that the cover is pretty brittle and may only last a season or two. Even knowing that fact i will not hesitate to purchase again. It makes my pool usable so much more that it is worth the expense of replacing it frequently.

I actually agree with many of the positive reviews — this pool cover does work. It noticeably helped keep my pool cleaner, reduced how often I need to vacuum, and I’ve even used less chlorine shock since using it. So in terms of performance, it delivers. That said, the durability is a real problem. After a relatively short time, the material started to break down and the bubbles began peeling off — almost like fish scales coming loose. It’s frustrating because the concept is great, but the product doesn’t seem built to last. I bought mine at the beginning of the cold season, and now, 5 months later, I will have to replace it. If they improved the quality and longevity, this would easily be a 5-star product. Right now, it feels like something you’ll have to replace sooner than expected.

I am very very happy with this pool cover!! We have a pool that has 3’ of water and the cover definitely helped heat the freezing water we put in. The temperature outside has been between 50-60 for the lows and 71-88 for the highs and the water is “bathtub warm” according to my kids. It was not like this at all last summer just using the black cover that came with the pool. This was a great purchase so we can use the pool in the cooler mornings and evenings but not freeze.

I purchased this solar cover for use on an Intex 15' round metal-frame pool. I had tried to cover the pool with the cover that comes with the pool. But I was unable to get it to stay on, even with two people working at it. The cover that comes with the pool is supposed to fit over the frame and it has a drawstring to hold it in place. It is very heavy and can get filled with water and sink. I was unable to get it on the pool by myself - as I would get one side in place, the opposite side would slide into the water and sink. Also, the water coming out of the filter pushed it around, making it even harder to work with. But even with the filter turned off and the help of a second person, we were unable to get the cover on. This solar cover, in comparison, is so easy to use! It is very lightweight (it's essentially a big sheet of heavy-duty bubble wrap). It floats on the water surface. I can easily put it on and take it off by myself. It is sized to fit with a little extra, so even if there are air bubbles trapped under the cover, it still covers the entire water surface. The water coming out of the filter doesn't move it at all. Any leaves or debris that fall into the pool lay on top and as I pull the cover off they come off with it (where I can remove them) and don't fall into the water. Updating my review: I have used the solar cover for one week. Prior to putting the cover on, the pool water temperature was previously around 71-72 degrees on sunny days when the air temperature ranged between highs in the upper 80s / low 90s and lows in the 70s. In the week that the cover has been on, the air temperature only reached highs around 80 and dropped into the low 60s at night yet the water temp went up to 76 degrees. That's a 4 degree gain in water temperature even though air temperatures had dropped by 10 degrees, and the water temperatures were within about 5 degrees of the high air temps. I am very pleased. 2 notes: 1. The instructions say that you need to remove it if there are going to be high winds, because it can blow off of the pool. 2. It's not a safety or tear-away cover, so it could potentially cause entrapment and drowning if anyone fell onto it. I remove the ladder and place it away from the pool when this cover is in place.

Please hear me when I say this...."Don't waste your money on this solar cover". This solar cover does work surprisingly well, however it only lasted one season and it does not come with a manufacturer warranty. I honestly was quite shocked at how well this solar cover helped to heat our 18' x 52' Intex above ground pool. I was apprehensive to spend $60 on this cover based on other reviewers stating that it didn't last and the solar bubbles cracked and fell apart, however I foolishly took the chance based on it being the Intex brand. I was meticulous to not use this cover after shocking my pool, as I wanted to extend the longevity of it. I was also very careful with how I placed it in my pool, removed it, and stored it. My efforts were for nothing, as upon packing my summer things away for the upcoming winter I noticed that the cover was cracked throughout and the bubbles flaked off and are useless for the next swim season. This is upsetting not only because $60 was spent on something that only lasted a few months, but the Intex brand didn't hold up to its standards with this product. In summary, this pool cover does work, but only for a few months. After that, the cover is useless due to dry rot. I would not recommend this product and I'm so disappointed in the Intex brand for charging this much for something of this poor quality.

Update. After three months of use it is falling apart. Unlike previous solar covers I’ve had before. I called and they only offer a 90 day warranty. Unfortunately I purchased in May but didn’t start using until July. In text stand by their 90 day warranty so apparently they only expect these pool covers to last three months. This is a nice cover for the price. It works very well for heating up pool and keeping debris out. It’s important for maximum results to run your pump so the water circulates so you just don’t get hot water just below your cover. On particular hot days you plan on swimming. Good idea to check and be sure water not getting to warm to not get the benefits of cool water on hot day. I do wish this cover was a little thicker. This is second pool cover I ordered but first one by intex. I don’t see this one surviving more that two seasons. I would replace over winter or it will breakdown in pool water. You can wash and store. Also because it thinner it is not as easy to fold as you remove from pool. I like to fold in a way that makes it easier to slide back on. But being on the thinner side, noticed not as easy as the thicker one I ordered from home improvement store. Also this one does have some water flow holes. I don’t like that as it will allow some dirty in. But so far not a big problem. Just other had no holes so so no fine dirt got it. I ordered mine purposely bigger as seen in pictures so I can control surface dirty water from sliding into pool when removing. The holes just mess with this thought process as if any dust on cover and water gets on top during removal it can wash into pool water. But not do big if deal. But all and all for price and that it works I would buy again! As end result of a floating solar pool cover makes it worth the purchase. I would have given five stars on durability if it was a little thinker. But very happy with purchase. If you are thinking of getting a cover and this is in your budget, it’s a fine choice.

Fits perfectly and very easy to put on the pool. The water warmed in just a few hours. Update: I live in the high desert and the wind can really get nasty... this pool cover hasn't budged with wind gusts of 40 mph!!!

Ho utilizzato il telo di copertura come ho fatto in tanti anni con altri teli simili, che sono sempre durati almeno una intera stagione di circa quattro mesi. Although it is quite light it is durable and easy to put on the pool. It helps to trap in the warmth and stops debris going in the pool It fits our 15ft circular pool well with a bit to go up the side.

After reading some reviews about this I had reservations. No need, it's perfect. I have this fitted to a 12ft pool but NOT the one with the inflatable ring. Mine is the metal framed pool & it fits perfectly. I also have a heater. This won't work miracles but if the sun is out for a period of time, this really will help get the water temperature up. When not in use, I also put the pool cover over the top of this one.
