Top Trumps: Elements

We have quite a few top trumps games as we usually get them for the kids stockings at Christmas, so there is always a danger of it being a bit samey. This set is great cos my kids are enjoying learning the facts about the elements, and we’ve been learning a few things too!

bought this for my older daughter to help with her chemistry, ended up playing with both kids, 11 and 13, they enjoyed it, but as with any game you have to keep playing with them, they'll get bored of you leave it to them. as such, this hasn;t been used since christmass, over a month ago. i'll get back on it, beacuse they did pick up little things whilst playing and the more you do that the more they'll pick up. in a nutshell, great for kids doing chemistry in highschool :)

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and they're great fun! You learn some cool facts about the elements and I was quite surprised by certain things, such as the most expensive element included in the set. My only criticism is that it doesn't include every element and so wouldn't double up as a make-your-own periodic table, which would have been good practice for learning to put them in the right order. Still, it isn't sold as having them all and as a game is perfectly good fun!

Nice Top Trumps although it didn't come with a container like the others we've had.

This is great to use for my students as a way to learn the names of the elements and what they’re used in.

My boyfriend is doing a Chemistry degree at university and loved this as part of his birthday present - has a wide range of elements with fun facts, discovery date, price etc. Great game. This would also be great for teaching kids about the elements.
