Duronic Electric Citrus Juicer JE6SR Fruit Juice Press Extractor 100W Motor Silver and Stainless-Steel 2 Cone Oranges Lemons Squeezer Machine

My partner Anthony and I decided that our chrome plated press type juicer just wasn't effective enough for the large oranges we were buying from Costco Leeds. Much of the juice just wasn't being pressed out effectively. So, we decided to go on line to our favourite internet store, Amazon and see what juicers they had in stock. We checked out all the citrus juicers as this was the type we wanted, ie to get juice out of oranges and lemons especially. We already have a very expensive Hurom masticating juicer, bought from Amazon a year ago, which is great for juicing apples, celery etc., but we wanted something simpler to use that would not take up too much space on our worktop, just for juicing oranges. When choosing our juicer one thing we looked for was the most powerful motor for our money. The Duronic JE601 was £14.99 when we purchased it and we were happy to pay this as it had the most powerful motor (85 watts) in its price bracket. This means when using the juicer and pressing down on the fruit the motor will keep turning and last longer than a juicer with a lower wattage motor. Also, the Duronic juicer has a smart silver finish, with stainless steel filter. The casing is not stainless steel but this results in a lighter to handle machine. There is a stainless steel version of this juicer with same 85 watt motor and different branding but is more expensive. There is a cord tidy underneath the juicer so you can let out the right amount of power cord for your use. Finally, I would like to add that we can now extract 2 glasses full of orange juice from 3 large Costco oranges, whereas before we were using 4 oranges. A great product that I have no hesitation in recommending to other people visiting Amazon!

I bought this juicer as a present for my husband for Father's Day. It arrived ahead of schedule - very promptly! It was a LOT better than I anticipated - we have had juicers in the past that are clumsy to use and too light. This one is solid and so easy to use even with just one hand holding the oranges down on the motorised rotating top. My husband loves it and I highly recommend it. It is very easy to clean (parts dismantle and are dishwasher proof) and the little spout where the juice comes out means no mess at all dripping onto surfaces. THe price is also very reasonable considering the quality - there were more expensive juicers, but this one beats them all for it's quality AND price.

I love this juicer! Perfect size and not too noisy. Good sturdy base and squeezes the most out of oranges! Great value and made in the UK! Glad I done some research before deciding on a motorised juicer or manual, this works perfect and so easy to clean! It is my first electronic citrus juicer, from reading the reviews they are very helpful.

This machine is easy to operate, easy to clean and It is quiet, yet obviously has a very powerful motor. Two things stop it from getting a 5* rating. Firstly it is big, and secondly it appears to have no auto reverse whilst you are using it, so does not extract the flesh cleanly. Otherwise a good machine and, at the offer on at the time, good value for money.

Bought it for Mum and she seems very happy with it. I'm not ssure what the plastic cover is for. Having something to keep the fruit in place would have been good.

Perfect for a small household where 1 or 2 people like a glass of orange juice. The one and only time I tried to make a larger quantity the motor burned out even though I kept leaving the juicer for quite some time in between (as per instructions). Luckily it was no problem at all to get the device replaced and I will never again make more than a couple of glasses at a time. If you have a large family or make large quantities of citrus juices regularly, then go for a different device. I learned that this item is not suitable for large quantities. But if you make small quantities and are not in a rush and can leave it to stand in between, then the juicer is great. I upgraded from a small manual little plastic thingy to this Juicer and it makes it a lot easier. Cleaning is not much hassle either. I'd definitely recommend it - as long as you only make small quantities, eg 2 glasses of juice at a time.

I will leave my original review, left after purchasing my second juicer below. My first juice lasted 5 months. My second less than two months. As much as I loved this juicer, I won't be buying another. It might last longer for someone who only makes a small glass of juice every few months. But if you make so little juice, you might as well just use a manual juicer. We made enough for four glasses of juice every week and it seems this have a very limited number of uses. Since two have died in such a short time I can give anything but a one star review, down from the original 5 stars. I absolutely love this juicer. It will pay for itself in no time of you drink citrus juice on a regular basis. It squeezes every last bit of juice out of the Orange and makes delicious juice. It ends up costing much less than than buying premium Orange juice and really does taste better. This also works with small fruits, or larger. You can do a grapefruit if you wish, or lemons and limes. We enjoy lemonade occasionally, especially in the summer. We also like a citrus mix, orange, lemon , lime, grapefruit and clematine. It's a bit too tart as it contains some very tart fruit, but you can sweeten it up with apple.or white grape juice, or add a bit of sugar. The juicer comes apart and assembles easily , and all the parts can be washed in the dishwasher except of course the base unit. The juicer is smaller than most, so doesn't take up too much counter space. My one an only issue with the juicer is that my first one lasted less than a year. Not a major issue as Amazon refunded and I just bought another. I ended up buying the exact same model, despite the fact that one burned out, because I simply couldn't find anything else anywhere near as good in my price range, and truth be told , I have become absolutely addicted to the fresh orange juice.

He tenido varios exprimidores y ninguno se ha notado con la robustez, fuerza en el giro(aún apretando para apurar) como el Duronic, la verdad que dudé por que no conocía la marca, pero me alegro mucho de mi decisión. es muy bueno, lo recomiendo.

The product arrived quickly and safely. So far it works well - does the job. However, why sell a product on the Amazon France web site - and supply it with a UK plug?? I live in France and have to use an adapter to use this - which is a pain.

Hace lo que tiene que hacer. Es silencioso y tiene unas ventosas que se agarran muy bien a la superficie, lo que da seguridad de manejo. Se limpia muy fácilmente. Gira a izquierdas. Producto recomendado.

Menudo aparato! Exprime de miedo, y es hasta estéticamente bonito. Se funde las naranjas sin rechistar, y tiene un exprime limones y limas por si las moscas. Totalmente recomendable😋
