No, but we did not need one. It works excellently without any 'extra' tool.

Does the lid close well please ?

The lid closes well enough. However, if it falls as you hold it it may come off, because the lid is a separate part that you place on top of the container part and does not have a separate mechanism to 'secure it' further. We have experienced no problem with it however. It is an excellent set for learning.

Can you create different conformers of molecules, such as cyclohexane?

Yes, this kit comes with sufficient Carbon and Hydrogen atoms to model different isomers and conformers of molecules including cyclohexane.

Can this be used for organic chemistry?
