Retell 156 Handset Connector

I bought this piece of rubbish because I needed to record an important telephone conversation. I've owned something similar in the past that plugged into the telephone line and worked perfectly recording both sides of the conversation just as I wanted. This thing plugs into the handset. Bad move RETELL. While it recorded my side of the conversation with remarkable fidelity and clarity the incoming side of the conversation was so muffled and quite I could hardly hear it. This is obviously a major design flaw and I advise anybody who is thinking about buying this thing to avoid it like the plague.

It arrived quickly and I was optimistic as it seemed to be well made and worked more or less when tested. But it didn't deliver when used for a real call. Audio not clear or loud enoough.

A screeching sound through the phone makes it impossible to use. very disappointed. look for something different but not this
