Are they safe for color journaling bible?

Yes. They are not oil residue. Will not stain or bleed.

What is the core made of, wax, oil, what?

I’m not 💯 sure. They feel soft, but not mushy. I don’t think they are wax or oil. I haven’t had a drawing that I wanted to smudge or blend. I like them. They sharpen nicely without waste like some pencils.

Does it come in a tin container?
