The Boys

I am a SONE and since I love SNSD SOOOOO MUCH, I have slowly began buying physical copies of their albums instead of just buying on iTunes :) I decided to buy The Boys on amazon even though i didn't want the american release. To my surprise, this was indeed the Korean Version of the album!! :D It comes in a tin casing and instead of a photo book, includes cards much like the Mr Taxi repackage or TTS Twinkle. It also includes a random members photo card and I got Tiffany's! The album includes 12 tracks: 1. The Boys (Korean Version) - Girls Generation at their finest! It's a fun and powerful track! No wonder they made an English version! It is just that good - 10/10 2. Telepathy - Another fun, bouncy track! It's as simple as that :) - 7/10 3. Say Yes - A cute track :) - 7/10 4. Trick - AMAZING! ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE BOYS! One of their best! - 9/10 5. How Great Is Your Love - A beautiful ballad, The Girls always put their heart and souls into their ballads :) - 8/10 6. My J - Another cute track! - 7/10 7. Oscar - LOVE IT! It's really cool :) 8/10 8. Top Secret - This is probably my favorite un-promoted song from the album :) It's just so fun - 10/10 9. Lazy Girl (Dolce Far Niente) - Cute and Bouncy :) - 8/10 10. Sunflower - A beautiful song! I adore it! - 8/10 11. Vitamin - IT'S SO FUN! I LOVE IT! - 9/10 12. Mr. Taxi (Korean Version) - I loved this song anyway and the fact they made a Korean version made me so happy! What a great way to end the album :) - 10/10 Overall, I highly recommend this album not only to SONES, but to anyone who wants to try out kpop and doesn't know where to start! If you want to try out Kpop, i recommend Girls Generations albums :) They never fail to make me happy :)

First of all do your research people. The cheaper version (as of 27th-Jan-2012 around £9) is OBVIOUSLY the newer realse, seeing as the release date was even the 26th, it would make sence that this was just the normal plastic CD that the UK/US release of The Boys comes in. Amazon are slow and are using the same reviews for BOTH pages of the boys (Both the UK/US version and the metal tin Korean version). I mean come on, getting the korean version for £9, when it's around £20? Pfft. The album is the same as The Boys, however you get "The Boys (English Version)" as well as four remixes; -The Boys [Clinton Sparks & Disco Fries Remix] -The Boys *Bring Dem Boys* -The Boys *Bring The Boys Out* [David Anthony Remix] -The Boys *Bring The Boys* [Teddy Riley Remix] The Clint Sparks remix includes Snoop Dogg in the remix. Which is new and personally I like the remix. However, if you already own "The Boys" Korean Version, I wouldn't reccomend buying this unless you are a collector, or a SONE. This is an amazing CD, especially if you already love SNSD, it's amazing for them to be over in this country already, especially at such a low price, considering most people who live in the west are uset to paying between £15/$15 - £40/$40 per CD!

This is a great CD, Many catchy tunes. Just to confirm (as there is several versions of this CD) This is the American release which has 17 tracks. Includes The Boys In English & Korean. Plus 4 Remixes of the Boys. It is not the later version with the "Time Machine" track. Hope this helps the confused.

A great album from Girls' Generation. I really do think k-pop should be huge in the UK,no idea why it isn't. This album is full of great pop tunes with a bit of an r&b vive on some of the tracks. The whole album gets my vote! Not one bad track in my opinion.

I bought this album of Girls' Generation for a relation. He is very pleased with it and he's still smiling.

Okay for starters, this is the album, not the single for The Boys since the album cover is slightly different. This contains all 12 songs and the track list is: 1. The Boys (Korean Version) 2. Telepathy 3. Say Yes 4. Trick 5. How Great is Your Love 6. My J 7. OSCAR 8. Top Secret 9. Lazy Girl 10. Sunflower 11. Vitamin 12. Mr Taxi (Korean Version) It also comes with a collection of photocards, one of each of the girls and two of the group and it all comes in a tin container which is different. This album is amazing with some really great songs, upbeat and ballads. My favourites include The Boys, OSCAR, Telepathy and Sunflower, but there are so many great songs on this album. The only downside is that it doesn't have the English version of The Boys. But other than that, considering the extras that you get (the photocards), this album is definately worth the money and I absolutely love it.

I just recently bought this and expected to get the tin and photocards, however I got the standard plastic case and CD alone. By the above review I figured that's what the product was, but now I feel the image used for this is a bit vague. I feel a bit cheated with this and overall am not happy. The album itself is awesome though. If you are familiar with the girls already i'm sure you'll agree it has a variety of different genres, from ballads to dance tracks. If you're not a huge fan or collector as I am then this is perfect for you. But if you want to have that little bit extra, I advise looking for the one with the cards and the tin case, that's what i'm going to look for now, but Amazon don't seem to stock it, so be careful.

Being a massive fan of snsd, I was (happily) surprised to find this item for such a good price. But when it arrived the case was cracked. I returned and got another one so everything was ok, right. WRONG. The next one that came had a crack in it too. Aargh!

Es ist für mich jedes mal wenn ich eine Cd aus Korea auspacke eine Überraschung wie schön diese doch gestaltet sind! Diese Packung besteht aus einer Metall Hülle die etwas größer ist als eine normale Cd hier in Deutschland aber das ist ja bei den meisten Cds aus Korea so! Sie sieht wirklich schön aus und ist reich verziert.. Die Mitglieder sind vorne in das Metall reingestanzt. In der Hülle sind 10 wunderschöne und Hochwertige Karten von den Membern. Jeder hat sein eigenes Thema, so ist z.b Taeyeon eine Prinzessin und trägt ein wunderschönes Kleid & Tiffany eine art Discoqueen! Die Karten sind wirklich alle sehr schön! Dann gibt es noch eine einzelne kleine Fotokarte mit Autogramm.. welche man da bekommt ist Zufall. Ich hatte zum Beispiel Yuri. Die Cd an sich sieht auch sehr schön aus! Girl's Generation shines in this album of ballads and catchy dance tunes! These Korean beauties can keep you bouncing to the beat!

This is the USA version of the album, so there's no photocard but still a short photobook with gorgeous pictures of the girls.

Bom, já sabia que era a versão em inglês sem os photocards e caixinha, por isso esperava pelo menos um cuidado maior. Chegou antes do prazo, porém quebrado no encarte, talvez se estivesse embalado melhor não teria acontecido.

Canzoni e registrazioni impeccabili. Peccato non esista mercato e tantomeno concerti qui in Italia. Srebbe bello poterle ascoltare dal vivo anche da noi.
