I was worried it would be too heavy, but I was wrong. Light stoneware. The charcoal color is great, we paired with matte black flatware. Love the lip on the plate.

I love the style of these dishes and the durability of them. They come in a couple different colors and are dishwasher safe. Great product with a great price!

These are beautiful, I love the colour and shape and they’re exactly what I wanted. They are a bit heavy, and as you can see from the second picture, one of the plates has some spots that I *hope* will come out. I’m not completely bothered by the spots as I had some bamboo plates before this that were very prone to staining. All considered, I don’t regret buying, I think they’re lovely.

It is a beautiful set however when I received it the box was huge, open and not well packed at all for the size of the box and coming halfway across the country. The plates were smashed when I opened the box but Amazon processes the refund on it.I reached out to the company but have yet to hear back from them.It is a beautiful set however I would not recommend you purchase anything from this company. The actual dishes are beautiful when not smashed into pieces. What a shame!I rate the set 5 stars but the manufacturer and shipping -0 starsTo the manufacturer: what a waste of a beautiful set of dishes and you really need to train your shipping employees much much better than that.Absolutely nothing to identify the package was first of all HEAVY - no identifying it is over weight and no stickers to identify it is fragile. 1 small piece of brown paper in a box that was huge. I small piece of packing tape to close the box and it was 98% open when I received it.Update** I reached out to the manufacturer to see if I could arrange replacement pieces but because I live in CANADA I was told to contact whoever I purchased it from which I think for the 2 pieces I needed was extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. I definitely would never purchase anything from Stone Lain again! Terrible customer service. Stay clear!
