Would this also work for mixing small amounts of jointing compound and repair plaster?

As mentioned in previous replies the mixer itself is essentially capable of mixing any two liquid/non-solid materials together however for an application such as this if the mixture is too thick the drill which the mixer is attached to may not be sufficiently powerful to move it at the required speed. Is this ok to mix 7.5L of emulsion paint

The rod is metal. The stirrer end is plastic. The end is only a push fit and may require some glue in the future. I have been sure to clean it immediately after use because I am unsure if the plastic stirrer would survive brush restorer to remove hardened paint.
