Easy and great quality

Useful tip
This is a large petal tip so ideal for big roses or flowers with bigger petals. I had a go at cherry blossoms and used several petal tip sizes, this being the biggest. With some parchment squares and a flower nail piping the flowers is easy once you get the hang of it. Wilton have a couple of good you tube tutorials which helped. You need to have buttercream at the right consistency, I used 250g butter beaten in my stand mixer until it’s white and really fluffy. Then add 500g icing sugar in 2 lots and only beat until incorporated or you will get air bubbles. I also added a tablespoon of milk. This was enough for all flowers, leaves and branches on the cake pictured. I put the flowers in the freezer for half an hour before placing on the cake. A great addition to my Wilton tips, I shall use again and again.

Just What I Wanted.
I wanted to try my hand at piping large buttercream roses and this tip is ideal for that purpose, I've given 4 stars for this item as the large end of mine arrived a little squashed due to inadequate packaging. I would recommend this item to anyone wishing to create really large roses.
