Stove Top Stuffing Mix - Cornbread 170g

We were introduced to Stove Top stuffing by our American neighbours when we lived in Italy. They used to buy it for me from the Base Exchange where it cost around $1. However, now we've both returned to our own homes the only way I can obtain it is via Amazon. Even at the money it now costs me we still buy it. It is part of our traditional Christmas lunch and everyone who tries it loves it. All I do is add it to a bowl with boiling water and butter in it, mix it up and put into an ovenproof dish then put it in the oven for 30 mins to however long it takes for the turkey to cook. I don't bother with the instructions which say boil it on the hob or microwave it before putting it in the oven. It's as easy as our UK stuffing mixes but a hundred times nicer to eat as it is made with good sized pieces of bread and herbs and doesn't taste like sawdust as UK stuffing mixes do. It's good enough to eat dry, out of the packet!!

An impulse buy that was enjoyed by the family. I would love to buy again but the price keeps rising. Not value for money at the moment

A must have for christmas dinner

Quite expensive for a stuffing mix, I had to mix sausage meat & a little garlic with herbs to enhance the bland taste of this cornbread mixture. Nothing wrong with the texture, but you do need to make it a little sloppy to stop it from drying out in the oven. This doesn’t deliver the taste or quality needed to justify the overly inflated price.

In my personal opinion this is the best stuffing for non meat eaters

I love this flavor . I stock up because online it's a great deal . growing up we usually go with cubbisons cornbread and stayed away from stove top types because they have the dried spices and vegetables inside that never quite break down the way we like . cornbread doesn't have that issue imo. it's very versitles, mix it with a box of cornbread and some drippings,bake or put in crock pot and you're good to go. super fast side dish comfort food anytime of year.
