Elastic restringing works really well. Easy to thread, good strong quality and self fastening holds well. Perfect fit for La fuma reclining chairs. Instructions translated from another language and a little unclear in places but easy to copy how original laces were inserted so not an issue. Just glad we didn't remove old ones before checking how to replace with new ones. Over all very happy with purchase. Very fast delivery and good customer service.

Replaced my snapped recliner cord in 5 minutes and is a good product. I have read on previous posts that there are no instructions and it comes in a phone pouch. I don't see why you would need instructions it's really self explanatory and yes it comes in a very sturdy, waterproof and sealed soft plastic phone pouch. I think this is very good of the seller to take the time and cost to do this and protect the product, most would just send in an envelope loose.

These are good value compared to the original chair manufacturers item, however they are a smaller diameter than the original. The length is longer so you can double them up in the high stress areas.

Great product and easy to fit. Take a photo of your existing cord layout before cutting it off, and with photo and instructions it’s easy to fit. When fitting, the cord does have to be tight to get to end eyelet, so you have to go back several times and retention the cord as you are looping it through eyelets. Takes about 20 minutes to redo the complete sun-lounger. Looks a high quality product 👍.

I was looking to buy new chairs but I came across these cords by accident and thought I would give it a try (I'll be honest, I didn't even know they existed). Thank goodness I did. Easy to order, arrived on time with good packaging, easy to understand and with a little brute force towards the end, I now have a chair that's like new. When my other chair goes, I'll be ordering from here and telling my friends also. Brilliant product.

This item arrived very quickly and with clear instructions. I used these these to re-lace two gravity chairs after the previous elastic had rotted through. I won’t lie, it took a bit of time and effort but well worth it. The difference in comfort was immediate and the chairs should last another couple of years before they need replacing. Highly recommended.

This product arrived crammed into a plastic bag which had obviously held a mobile phone as the stickers for the phone were still on the bag. However I overlooked this, seeing it as a bit of recycling. The instructions are on a printed sheet but the English is so bad that it really makes no sense whatsoever. Follow the cord that is already on the chair, don't take the old ones out and then start putting the new ones in, just take the old ones out as you go along, so that you can follow the placement exactly. The actual threading is incredibly simple if you do it this way. The cords are two long ones for the seat, and two shorter ones for the back. Ensure you use the correct ones in the correct position. They aren't exactly the same length as each other in their pairs, but an extra loop round soon takes care of the difference. The length is not adjustable. The strength of the elastic is very good, and the product appears to be well made. I would definitely buy this product again, even though it isn't perfect, simply because it has saved me from having to throw away a £100+ LaFuma chair just because the elastic had gone baggy. Now really comfy and useable again, ready to last another few years, so would recommend this product.

I found this straightforward to use and used it to mend my chair in about 10 minutes (see picture). I had to mend two chairs, and it was even easier the second time. Top tip. You need to keep the elastic tight while threading, or it will appear you will not have enough. If this happens, it's best to start again. I have some more elastic to replace in other chairs, and will be buying this again.

Unser uralter LaFuma-Liegestuhl hatte durchgewetzte Gummischnüre; bin dann durch Zufall auf diese Schnüre hier gestossen. Da dieser Stuhl vom Gestell und vom Polster her immer noch top ist, nur die Schnüre waren durch, habe ich mich entgegen der heute weit verbreiteten "wegschmeissen und neu kaufen"-Taktik für neue Gummischnüre entschlossen. Der Liegekomfort dieses Stuhls ist aus meiner Sicht einfach phantastisch. Die Länge der Schnüre habe ich grob geschätzt und danach dieses Set bestellt. Natürlich kann ich nicht sagen, ob das Gummi aus China auch 15 Jahre hält. Allerdings ist der Stuhl damit jetzt wieder wie neu! Tipp zum Wechseln der Schnur: die Anleitung habe ich auch nach einem kurzen Blick weggelegt. Ich habe Schritt für Schritt, Öse für Öse, die alte Schnur durch die neue ersetzt. Ein Stück alte herausgefädelt, die neue folgen lassen. Sollte man in einem Rutsch pro Schnur durchziehen. Hat wunderbar geklappt ohne Wissenschaft. Ist entspannend und danach kann man auf dem "reparierten" Stuhl wieder ein bequemes Nickerchen machen!

Gli elastici sembrano di buona qualità, speriamo che durino nel tempo. Io li ho montati su una sedia Lafuma, non sono uguali (sono 4 e sono più lunghi degli originali) ma alla fine si riesce a montarli facilmente. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

There is a trick to installing it. Once you fold it and loop it to the bottom, install one 1/2 at a time. That way you can stretch the elastic enough.

Goma resistente, se ve de buena calidad, con el tamaño perfecto para mi silla, ha quedado como si volviera a ser nueva. Cuesta un poco ponerla porque hay que estirar bastante, pero una vez puesta está perfecta. Muy contenta
