Aeromax Jr. Astronaut Suit with Cap

Super cute and fun. Light material can be worn over clothing

I ordered this Aeromax astronaut gear (Size 4-6 in white) for my 4 year old grandson, and am absolutely stunned at the workmanship, quality, design and detail put into this outfit. I really can't call it a costume because this is tailor quality. All of the seams and knit cuffs are top-sitichedand finished, the zippers (lots of them) are heavy plastic, the patches which look like something from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum are carefully stitched. The fabric is a rather thin polyester and there is no warmth to this outfit, so it's necessary to wear clothes underneath, which do show through as the fabric is thin. There is a puff vinyl trim stitched around the neck, and though we have not yet washed the costume, I'm hoping the vinyl will hold up in the laundry...though definitely won't try the dryer. Although he has not yet worn it, the included baseball cap is equally well made, and even has bound eyelet holes for circulation...really!My grandson already had his costume for Halloween when I ordered this in September, so I kept it for Christmas. It was the first gift he opened and he could hardly wait to put it on, and keep on throughout the day and night. I may buy the next size up for next Halloween and his 2 year old brother will be able to wear this...it does run a bit small.I really like the finished look of the black boots in the ad picture, and we will get some of those for trick or treating, because the boot covers (sold separately) which are supposed to look like astronuat boots really aren't necessary and are cumbersome. Not expensive, but not the impact of the fabulous astronuat suit. My grandson LOVES the helmet which is sold separately, and he likes hearing the Mission Control instructions from the built-in battery operated speaker. May be a little dangerous for trick or treating because of the lack of peripheral vision, and very large size of the helmet, but the helmet really adds to to the look.

This is a very nice astronaut costume. I got this for my almost 8 year old son; we're having a space themed 2nd grade graduation party, but he got to wear it not too long ago to school for Career Day. I bought another costume from a different vendor and I did not like that one at all; this one is very well made and great looking.

Purchased for my 1yr olds first trip around the sun party, it was such a hit. Size 18m fit him great, true to size. It has a zipper up the front as well as buttons on the pants for diaper changes. Planning to save it for a future halloween costume or for dress up fun.

I’m so happy I decided to purchase this one. It is identical to the NASA Center’s. Their gift shop didn’t have the size I needed. This is double stitched, and ALL OF THE POCKETS ARE REAL! Not cheap n shiny like typical Halloween store wear-once material. I’ll update a reply to this letting you know how a six year old liked it as a birthday gift!

We purchased this suit for our 3 year old son who loves to wear costumes, is intrigued by space (among a million other things),and gets a kick every time he hears a countdown. I must admit I use this to get him to step out of his bath, come to the table, etc... 5-4-3-2-1 and he rushes in! Since he has been wearing his fireman outfit almost every day for months and months, we were looking for something that could stand the test of his pretend play, in- and outdoors.Of course the suit is white and gets dirty easily, but it washes beautifully. The material (polyester) though thin, seems durable. It is not at all breathable obviously, and seems quite warm to me, but it does not seem to bother our son. The suit is well made, with zippers and (joy!) straps that click. The sleeves have nice cuffs. The padded rim around the neck and a generous amount of embroidered logos make the whole outfit look rather official. The cut is lean and long which fits our son perfectly. We ordered size 4-6, he is stepping on the legs but there is a hook and loop strap at the ankle so we can easily bunch the fabric up and secure it in place until he grows a bit. This outfit is a rather handsome look.Accessories: I personally don't care much for the cap that comes with it since it is a bit too big, so I keep it in the car in case we need a hat, and ordered a helmet to complete the outfit. I decided against the gloves, the boots and the backpacks that seemed to be for bigger sizes. My son and I had a great time making a jetpack with two empty water bottles and black duck tape; the duck tape straps conveniently fit in the side straps of the outfit.This space suit made our little boy quite happy, he is wearing it with pride; it opened a realm of new games and discoveries. We recommend this item warmly.
