I really bought this little USB rechargeable battery radio for the radio recording feature, so that I could record a 2-hour radio program that comes on at 10:00pm on Thursdays, so I could do other things and have it to playback later. So I start it at 10:00pm and then set the sleep timer to shutdown after 2 hours. Some notes on the recording feature: -While playing station, you can press the SL/AL button to turn the radio off in 120mins, 60mins, 30mins or 15mins. And this sleep feature DOES work to stop the recording. Note it doesn't actually power-off the radio it goes to a Clock mode (where it just displays time), but it definitely stops what it was doing without messing up the mp3 file. -The mp3 file saved to the MicroSD card (up to 32GB, FAT32) is 128kbps, stereo, 32KHz sample rate. This is not the greatest quality in the world obviously but it'll do for a radio program. -You press REC FILE to playback the mp3, and seek forward and seek back work fine. Unfortunately, I don't see a "Bookmark" or "continue where you left-off" feature but it does display how many minutes you are into the mp3 so just jot that down that if you want to continue listening from there later. -To delete an mp3 file, hold down the MEM/DEL button while its playing and it will say "del?" and press the MEM/DEL button again to confirm, or power button to cancel. -When you plug the USB-C cable into a Windows laptop it does come up (no driver) and you can browse the MicroSD card and copy-off the file if you want to save it. I haven't tested Bluetooth or any other features, because honestly I was just interested in the radio recording feature. And recording works great, and I don't think any of the other radios in this price range have the ability to turn-off after 120 (or 60/30/15) mins. like this one. So I am happy!

This is a decent rechargeable digital radio that works well, looks good with a good speaker despite its small size. I give it 4 starts; not 5 because the rotating knob is for the selection of frequencies (radio stations) while the +/- button is for volume control. Had this been in reverse, the radio would have deserved 5 stars.

This AM/FM Radio/Mp3 Player & Recorder is very impressive for its small size and low cost. I was looking for a small battery powered AM/FM radio to listen to Talk Radio on my tractor while mowing fields. Even though the audio quality through its internal speaker is impressive for its size, I plan to use wired headsets which makes it sound even better. The built-in Mp3 Player, which can also be used to record voice or radio, is a plus for me since I ocassionally will want to record some of what I hear for playback to my wife later. And the recorded Mp3 audio file is better quality than what comes from the speaker when played back on a better sound system. However, you must install your own 32GB max Micro SD card for the record function to work. Another unit that I purchased and returned for this one, was more expensive, the display was hard to see in sunlight unlike this backlit LCD display, and was subject to noise interferrence even on the FM band, which I have not had on this unit. It also had no internal speaker, just a headset jack which must be used for radio reception since the headset cord becomes the antenna. This uint has its own built-in telescopic antenna for the FM band and an internal Magnetic internal antenna for the AM band so the FM antenna can stay retracted when using AM. Both the AM and FM reception sensitivity is as good or better than the radio in my new 2024 truck. It also has a built-in digital clock which be handy on the tractor since I don't carry my smartphone on the tractor for fear of dirt, dust, vibration and rain damage. It came with very detailed (real English) accurate instructions and the keypad controls are very user friendly with just a little practice. It has a USB Type C charging port which is compatible with all of my newer battery chargers. Even though it comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, you have to supply the 5Vdc charging cube. At this point, I have not used it enough to know if the battery does indeed last 20 hours as advertised. But I will not be suprised if it does and perhaps even longer while using headsets. The only dissappointment was that the included Bluetooth 5.0 feature acts only as a receiver so that you can broadcast from your phone to this unit but not a transmitter to connect to wireless earbuds, which it states clearly in the product description. Basically, it does everything the ad purports and I highly recommend it as a good and safe purchase for the money.

I got this for my son when he was working. He managed to destroy it. I think he ran it over with a big truck. So, it was not durable enough for a big truck. But before he distorted. It was a great radio. The clarity was great. All the functions were great. I don’t know how loud it got but I do know the volume was great it did connect to the Bluetooth here. It looked good the last time I saw it. I would say it was worth the money just don’t give to a destructive person.

I have a bunch of these small radios. A simple turning on and off is what I want to listen to the radio. This Rysamton is not one of them. First the pros. Everything works and it sounds great with the bass port in the back. You can also add and delete the presets. It has a clock to tell time. Buttons are well spaced and soft to press. The screen is easy to read. Battery life is great. However, this Rysamton is very cumbersome to use. You have to hold and press multiple buttons to turn on the radio. The biggest issue for me is that the Rysamton does not remember the last volume level. It remembers your last radio station but not the volume level. It is default to 20 out of 30 which is way too loud for me. I listen at 10. It has a standby and off feature. The radio will continue to play no problem. You press the power button once to put it to standby. The Rysamton will then show the clock. After awhile, it will turn itself off completely. Turning itself off is the issue. It forgets the volume level after it is off. 3 stars from me. Hope this help.

Poor sound and funky controls. I had to return it.

This is an incredibly sensitive FM radio with a lot of other functions which I don't use. But it has good range, decent quality sound in a very small size. The internal batteries are rechargeable and last for over 18 hours, as far as I used them in one sitting, and possibly longer. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. Good value for the money
