2 Pack Tennis Elbow Brace with Adjustable Strap, Blue

Somehow strained a muscle in my biceps. It's a rough place to have injured when one exercises regularly. Tried this to see if it helps. It does. Less pain. I wear it when working out (with a compression sleeve and a bicep brace). I am a small female and appreciate that I can tighten it as needed. However, I really have to pull to get it tight sometimes...it seems more fitted to a larger male arm. But I make it work. In general, it adds compression, stays in place, and targets the area of soreness with the "puck" padding.

I was searching for an elbow brace to help with pain caused by hypermobility (extension and rotation) and decided to give this a try after every other brace was too uncomfortable/bulky/restrictive. I didn't have high hopes because it does nothing for reducing range of motion, but was desperate. The amount of pain relief it provides is unbelievable! I would say it gives a 95% reduction in pain. Before, I was so miserable that my daily productivity was significantly reduced and I was exhausted from the pain by evening. With this brace, I can not only work until the rest of my body gives out, but I'm not irritable and exhausted by nighttime (at least from elbow pain). I do use this for hours every day (at first I'd even sleep in it), and noticed quickly if I forgot it for even regular household chores, but I am able to do a bit more now even without it as the constant tendon/nerve irritation has been reduced. The only downfall is the material does tend to hold some cat hair and can look a little unclean, but since you get two, you can just rinse one off (or wash it) while still using the other. It's also a little bulky and it doesn't fit well under one long sleeve shirt. I use it outside, and while it's not yet super hot (mostly low 90s), it doesn't seem to absorb sweat or make me hotter. If I remember, I'll try to update once it gets into the 100-teens, but I don't foresee it being an issue even then. I'm pretty sure the large print on it will completely wear off soon, so it'll be a little less noticable then. I also am debating about trying another brand just to find something a little less bulky when I leave the house (again, I wear it most of the time), but I'm not sure it's worth it as it isn't really that big, it does a great job of staying in place and is very easily adjusted if I need to change the tightness during the day, and it's so affordable. When I was searching for an elbow brace, I couldn't find any with reviews that mentioned a few keywords/acronyms, so I'm going to add ones I haven't yet used to help others; EDS, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, mobility aids, hEDS, HMS.

I purchased the Rakiie Elbow Brace 2 Pack (Climate Pledge Friendly, Blue) about a month ago to manage elbow pain from repetitive tasks like gardening, lifting my cat’s litter box, and maintaining my lawn mower. As a homeowner with a busy routine, I needed a supportive, easy-to-use brace to reduce discomfort from what I suspect is mild tendonitis. After using both braces alternately for various activities, here’s my detailed take on their performance, including pros, cons, and tips for other buyers. How I Used It I used one brace at a time on my right forearm, about 2 inches below the elbow, as recommended for tennis or golfer’s elbow. My forearm is about 10.5 inches in circumference, and I adjusted the Velcro strap for a snug fit. I wore it during gardening (1-2 hours of digging and raking), cleaning the litter box, and occasional light lifting (e.g., mower parts). Each brace was worn for 3-5 hours daily, 3-4 times a week, and I’ve washed them twice by hand with mild detergent to test durability. The second brace is handy for swapping when one is drying or for keeping in my toolbox. Pros Effective Pain Relief: The brace’s compression pad provides targeted support, noticeably reducing elbow soreness during and after gardening or lifting. It helped me rake leaves without the usual ache, aligning with reviews praising instant relief for tendonitis. Adjustable Fit: The Velcro strap is strong and easy to adjust, fitting my smaller forearm comfortably while allowing customization for tighter or looser support. It accommodates a wide range of arm sizes, great for both men and women. Non-Slip Design: The brace stays in place during sweaty tasks like mowing or scooping litter, thanks to its non-slip material. I didn’t need to readjust it mid-task, unlike cheaper bands I’ve tried. Sustainable and Durable: The Climate Pledge Friendly certification is a nice touch, and the materials (nylon/spandex blend) feel high-quality, with no fraying or seam issues after two washes. The 2-pack is convenient for alternating use. Versatile Use: It’s effective for various activities causing elbow strain—gardening, pet care, or even typing. The blue color is subtle and doesn’t scream “medical device,” making it less noticeable during errands. Cons Velcro Can Irritate: While the Velcro is strong, it occasionally catches on clothing or scratches my skin if misaligned. Some users noted similar issues, and wearing it over a long sleeve helps. Mild Discomfort Over Time: After 4-5 hours, the brace feels slightly tight, especially if I overtighten it. Loosening it helps, but it’s less comfortable for all-day wear compared to a sleeve-style brace. Learning Curve for Placement: Positioning the compression pad correctly (2 inches below the pain point) took trial and error. No instructions were included, so I watched online videos to get it right, which could frustrate beginners. Not Ideal for Heavy Lifting: While great for light to moderate tasks, the brace didn’t fully alleviate pain when lifting heavier items (e.g., a 20-pound bag of cat litter). For intense strain, a sleeve or medical consultation might be needed. Comparisons Compared to the Bodyprox Elbow Brace 2 Pack, the Rakiie brace has a softer compression pad and better non-slip grip, but Bodyprox’s dual Velcro straps offer more adjustability for larger arms. Against a generic Walmart sleeve I tried, Rakiie’s targeted counterforce design is more effective for tendonitis but less versatile for general joint pain. The Sleeve Stars Tennis Elbow Strap is similar in price and function, but Rakiie’s sustainable materials and 2-pack value edge it out. If you’re debating this versus a compression sleeve, choose the strap for specific tendon pain (tennis/golfer’s elbow) and a sleeve for broader support (e.g., arthritis). Tips for Buyers Position Correctly: Place the compression pad about 2 inches below your elbow (outward for tennis elbow, inward for golfer’s elbow) for best relief. Watch a quick YouTube video on placement to avoid guesswork. Adjust Lightly: Start with a snug but not tight fit to avoid circulation issues. I mark my preferred Velcro spot with a pen for quick reapplication. Wear Over Clothing: To prevent Velcro irritation, wear the brace over a thin long-sleeve shirt, especially for extended use. Wash Carefully: Hand-wash with mild detergent and air-dry to maintain Velcro strength and fabric elasticity. Avoid machine washing to prevent seam wear. Who Should Buy This? The Rakiie Elbow Brace 2 Pack is ideal for adults with mild to moderate tendonitis or elbow strain from repetitive tasks like gardening, pet care, or light sports. It’s a budget-friendly, sustainable option for those seeking targeted pain relief without bulky sleeves. For severe pain or heavy lifting, consider a sleeve-style brace or consult a doctor. Overall, these braces have been a game-changer for managing my elbow discomfort, letting me tend to my garden and cat without wincing. The 2-pack is practical, and the sustainable design is a bonus. I’ll keep using them and might gift a pack to a friend. If you’ve tried these or have elbow pain tips, share in the comments—I’d love to hear your experience!

Comfortable works as intended nice pad on the inside

As a skinny person, this is just another one size fits all that is two sizes too big. The adj7stable band widens about 1/3 of the way to the point that it won't fit into the slot for it. I have adjusted this as far as it will go and it will not tighten enough to provide the pressure needed to be therapeutic.

Worked as advertised

It brought me such relief. I am so grateful that I bought these! I had horrible horrible tennis elbow and this did help a lot! But I will say that I relieve myself from my tennis elbow by creating trauma to the area by slapping the area for 20 minutes. It's a lot but it worked. Try it.

I have never used an elbow brace or any kind of compression cover until recently. I got one that you slip over your arm to your elbow, like a sleeve, and then velcro to secure. I didn't like it all and found myself feeling itchy. It was suggested to try this type. I'm new to this so picking one I wasn't even sure what was important. It came within 2 days and I loved that there are 2. Ya never know when you'll need them both lol. It explained how to put it on if you have tennis elbow (which is why I need it) or if you have golf elbow. A few hours later I realized that I was not experiencing the pain I had been. I honestly was surprised that I could tell a difference that quickly. I'm on day 2 of wearing it and it's definitely taken the pain way down. I didn't sleep in it as it suggested you not do that. I would say this is a quality product that seems well made and it appears to me working and providing the relief that is advertised it will. It's comfortable and doesn't slip from where I've placed it and it doesn't need to be too tight for it to stay where placed. I think I've seen people wear slimmer less bulky ones, this is a little bulky and I wouldn't want to wear it if I was going to dinner out or maybe anywhere, but I don't know that I would want to wear a slimmer one either, I suppose it would all depend on how bad the pain was at that time. Anyway, I would recommend this product based on the quality of craftmanship and the relief it delivers.

Bought this after suffering with pain whilst and after playing golf, wore this the next time I played and what a relief. I was quite surprised at how a small band like this could give such support and relief. It’s fairly discreet too which is ideal!
