Direct Global Solar Mosaic Lights for the Garden with Plugs, Pack of 6

Have bought 3 sets of these at different times and they are good lights. Attractive colours, nice and bright. Have also bought very similar looking ones at a cheaper price in high street discount shops. Didnt last long before letting water in and/or conking out. You get what you pay for I suppose!

Beautiful lights, and, with enough sunlight during the day, they light up beautifully at night. And they look more expensive than they are! I bought them to line our front path and they look fabulous. I do want to get another set for the front of the house, as they work really well and look so pretty! Solar lights can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but these seem to be of a pretty good quality and have lasted months now without any problem.

This pack of 6 lights are really pretty when they light up and are really lovely to look at. Sadly of my pack of 6 only 4 work so sadly they will have to be returned. A real shame is I cannot see anything else I like as much as I liked these. Also I have to waste time digging them up again tomorrow. Update: The customer service of this company is excellent.The faulty lights were replaced very quickly and I now have 6 working lights. The lights look really lovely in my border. The lights are easy to insert but you must remove the top section and turn them on (this was not why I had 2 none working lights) and then just wait for dusk to fall and enjoy them

These are brilliant! After a day of sunshine, they turn on as it gets dark, these days at around 8pm and I have seen them still on at 5am. Colours are good. Solar lights are generally very variable - I have one set that is about 5 years old and still going strong, though not for as long as these mosiac lights. Another set lasted less than 12 months. I'll try and come back in a year's time and update this review. The only change I'd make would be that I would prefer replaceable or rechargeable batteries as well as solar, so you don't have to throw them away when they stop working. Anyway, recommended so far and I have ordered more.

I have now purchased two lots of these lights and find tat they are very pretty in my garden at night, my only problem with them is that two of the twelve are not holding their charge, one lights up for about ten minutes, the other for about twenty, perhaps you can provide me with a solution ? # UPDATE 1 YEAR ON # Two of the lights still work, the rest are rusty inside now. I think after owning them all this time, they were ok for the price £14.49 at the time, although the £1 versions I found in pound shop where better quality and lasted longer! # ORIGINAL REVIEW # I've owned these for a few months now and whilst some people say they come well packed I can't agree. Mine came in a blue polythene bag where they were all loose inside. A couple were a bit battered when I opened them up. They are also not as well made as they look. The filler in between the glass pieces was falling out and the construction was a bit of a mess. Started using them and they are great. All worked and looked very pretty. One rain storm and I noted the solar panels let water inside the unit which made them go rusty. I dried them all and sealed around the panel with a glue gun which sorted that out. They all still work and even though I paid a lot for something which wasn't made very well and shipped badly, I wouldn't be without them as they enhance my garden beautifully. On a side note we found the same kind of lights, all be it in single colours only and a bit smaller in the pound shop at £1 each. We bought a few of them too and they are brighter!

I have ordered several sets of these lights and I think they are beautiful. The different colours really stand out in the garden and draw attention. However, there is a big flaw. I ordered several sets from different suppliers (a set for the front garden and a set for the yard), and both sets had faults with 1 light. The light would initially work but after about 2 days - nothing. I don't know if they wouldn't charge, hold the charge or if there was some electrical problem. The first time this happened I contacted the supplier and they sent a replacement 'head', which worked well. A few weeks later, I noticed another light had stopped working and several others were flickering. Several months in and a handful from both sets are not working - infact, one set now only has 2 working lights. They are cheap, they look good. But be aware - they may not last long at all. Which is an awful shame considering how stylish they are
