Timeless Classic with Heart and Humor
Shrek is an absolute gem. The humor is clever, the characters are unforgettable, and the story flips fairy tale tropes in the best way. It’s just as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids, with jokes that still hold up years later. The animation, voice acting, and soundtrack all come together perfectly. A true classic that never gets old.

Man, this movie hits different watching it in adulthood. The sad points are a lot sadder, and the romantic points are a lot more romantic.

Everything is good but sometimes while characters moving near sharp things, it is showing some glitchy. I know it's not tv or player issue because I checked with others.

With Shrek, Dreamworks came up with something that Disney has failed dismally to do in the last decade - and create a film for the kids that should be just as much fun as for the adults. Set in an enchanted forest, Shrek (voiced by Mike 'Wayne's World and Austin Powers' Myers) is the stereotypical bachelor. He likes his privacy and is dismayed when the Lord Farquad (one of many jokes for the adults) has all the fairy tale creatures rounded up and dumped on Shrek's beloved swamp. It is these characters that provide the best moments of the film, with the wise guy Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood and the German Three Little Pigs. Donkey, by Eddie Murphy is another thrill and is in truth the best thing he has done in a LONG time. Through dragons castles, mysterious curses, and short bad guys, Shrek is innovative and very funny. What Disney used to be, Shrek is today. Kids should love Donkey and Shrek while adults will appreciate the wit and more subtle humour. Well recommended!
