CND Shellac - Rouge Rite 7.3ml/0.25 fl oz

I have lots of shellac colours but have not seen this before.Beautiful rich deep colour with stunning sparkles. Love the fact that the glitter does not have a gritty texture but feels so smooth .Looks fantastic with the glossy top coat.I got this for a fantastic price and was concerned as to whether it was genuine. It looked genuine with the plastic insert and box and the numbers underneath matched those on the box, the proof to me is tge reaction of my nails.A few years ago I became allergic to gels that are commonly sold similar colours to the genuine shellac. Within an hour of the gels going on my nail I feel it burning and itching. I have to get it off straight away and give my nails a rest with no product on my nails for around a month. If I dont get it off straight away my nails lift awy from the nail bed and skin on my fingers and then fall off. You can imagine how painful that is. With genuine CND Shellac I do not have that problem at all . But I used this and after application there was no reaction whatsoever so I know it is a genuine product.Highly recommend this colour of CND Shellac and the seller.

Firstly, this post is about the COLOUR, not the delivery, not the concept of shellac and certainly not a rant about EU regulations. This is because this is what I would look for in a CND colour review, so I hope that works for you too.I have posted a couple of photos of this colour because I thought it was so difficult to describe. In bright conditions it really is the most beautiful 'Cadburys' purple. The colour is deep, with a slight sheen. In dull conditions it looks more like a royal blue with a purple hue (again there is a photo) and in the evening and indoors it is more like a navy blue with a purple hue.I find this colour extremely enjoyable to wear, because it is a bit snazzy when it looks purple but it is absolutely beautifully professional for me to go to work / meetings with. It doesnt look at all out of place with a work suit. Having 2 or 3 colours in one means that I havent got at all bored, which is very unusual for me.In case you are wondering, because this does appear blue in some light conditions, it is quite different from the 'Midnight Swim' CND colour (which is very dark aqua blue).You do need 3 coats to get enough coverage, but if you layer thinly, it will build up beautifully.You may also notice from the photos that it lasts. These were taken over a week after application and is growing out but still completely intact.Enjoy :o)

Good product for natural look nails. Need to be used for strong nails or with base. Nice nude colour.

I really like using shellac, great results every time and I love the colour.

This arrived very quickly. Although some find this colour more translucent then desired, I love it with a sparkly coat over the top. On a negative note I only brought this as it said it had the curve hugging brush but when it arrived it doesn’t so this is very disappointing as I find it goes on better with the curve hugging brush.

Another gorgeous colour from CND. Purchased on here as delivery is quicker than going direct with wholesaler.

I don't usually buy Shellac as there are so many other less expensive brands which I find very good. However, as I love this particular shade I decided to 'splash' out. It is double the price I normally pay for a gel polish. It arrived, relatively slowly, as it was from USA. So tried it immediately. How disappointing. It was so gloopy, the finished nails looked awful. So I contacted the seller and this was their response ....."Hello, Some of the highly pigmented gel polishes are usually thicker in viscosity. Please shake the bottle and use the brush to mix the formula more thoroughly to work the consistency of the gel. Try warming your polish before using it by placing the bottle in warm water before"Funnily enough it was one of the days where we had 30 degrees!Anyway I followed the advice and placed the bottle in warm water, then rolled the bottle in my hands rather thank shaking (as I know this can cause bubbles). It was indeed less gloopy and much easier to apply, but, once curing under the lamp, yuk. I can only describe the effect as 'similar to paint wrinkling' as though it was too warm!So basically I won't waste my money on Shellac again. There are so many gel polishes out there now, I am sure I can find a very similar shade to 'Bloodline'.I suppose the seller may say, this product is for professional use only! I have been doing gel manicures in my nails for over two years without any problems!The one star is for the shade only!
