Does the package come with a receiver

The PL-8000 is the antenna only, you would need to purchase a receiver separately. DISH receivers models 411, vip211, vip211k, vip211z, and Wally are compatible.

Will the dish playmaker winegard pl8000 can pick up sign from the usvi st thomas 00801

The PL-8000 system is only capable of receiving signal from DISH satellites 110, 119, and 129.

Can my home receiver works while we r at a rv park?

As long as your home receiver is a DISH model 411, vip211, vip211k, vip211z, or Wally receiver yes it will work.

How many shows can be recorded at the same time?

If you are purchasing Winegard PL 8000 with a receiver, please be informed that the receiver is a DVR ready device. That means you can buy an external hard drive and start recording the shows of your choice. However, we are unable to recommend exact capacity for a drive to choose as we do not know how large the recorded and stored files can be. You may choose a drive by the most popular capacity available today, and we believe this can be a great starting point for you.
