This thing is big, perfect for the bottom of a laptop and very light. Great for travel. The fans do thete job and the elevated surface alone helps. I will be honest its a touch loud at max speed. Its just a fan that blows air in however, nothing with cooling effects of the sort. Its hardly bright and easy in the eyes. Fairly easy to use and set up. I recommend for the price.

I bought a few different brands of these things to help my laptop from draining so fast while connected to my monitorsThis is the only one that actually cooled my laptop a solid 10+ degrees and I could feel the air and laptop was distinguishably cooler.I like the stands to adjust the viewing and the laptop stoppers are not annoying to type around or rest my hands on, though adding a cushion or rounded edging would help even further for comfort.The phone holder, for me personally, I don’t do much on my phone while working on my laptop so I can’t fully speak on how useful it is. I will say it feels like a heavier phone may have issues staying up, and would be nice to adjust the angle if your laptop is angled different.I’m returning this one though to order the smaller size because I didn’t realize the 70MM and 100MM were for different size laptops. I have a 14.5 inch laptop and the 100 is massive compared. I will update if there is any difference!

Good product for the price. I like the variable speed function for the cooling fans, and appropriately placed USB ports. The metal top work surface provides solid support, and more than ample space for my 15 inch HP Spectre. The laptop is a decent workhorse, but tends to get hot when pushed. This cooling pad solution is adequate enough to keep the Spectre's internal fans from having to kick into high gear while using more demanding applications. If you work with your computer on your lap, as I often do, you will appreciate the full panel flat under surface. However, this component is a bit flimsy and could be better constructed. I also appreciate there are no crazy arcade lights, as I am a business professional, not a gamer. This is my third different cooling pad in 5 years. So far, it is my favorite of the three. I would pay $10-15 more for a similar unit, if it came with a more robust base and better quality motors/fan blades. That said, if this provides a couple years of service, it will be well worth the investment.

works fine and at a good price

I just received this today. So far it's SO QUIET! I have a gaming laptop that I also use for 6 meetings a week. I needed something quiet because my meetings are Microsoft Teams meetings and I don't want a lot of noise while in the meetings. This is great! I also wanted something simple and functional... This was inexpensive (in case I didn't love it), quiet, simple, and functional. I realize people think the phone holder is a gimmick, however, I look things about my game up on my phone as I'm playing and it's going to be great to not have to keep picking up my phone to read while I'm playing. If I have any issues in the future I will update my review but, for now, it's exactly what I need. UPDATE... So it's day two... I was playing my game and, yes, it was quiet & comfortable. It did not, however, cool my laptop. There was virtually no difference. I've got to say... I'm so disappointed. It's works when I'm not on it for a long time, so it works for my meetings. It doesn't do it for playing my game. I spend, at the very least, 2 hours a night playing. My laptop got as hot as it ever did and I'm returning it for a different one. If you're a gamer it's not functional.

Great. Our son loves it, he has a gaming laptop and it heats up quickly. This has a USB cord that connects it to the laptop for power, you don't need to plug it into a wall outlet.

Nice and quiet. Keeps my gaming laptop cool.

At first this seemed like a great cooling pad, but now shopping for a different brand to replace it. Here's what was wrong:1) adjustable height is held in place by 2 thin, weak plastic brackets with spaced fingers that metal height bar snaps into on either side at base of unit to adjust height... the plastic bracket finger on one side broke off under normal use, so that particular height setting can no longer be used2) the baffles at the front of pad that keep the laptop from sliding forward are set an inch back from front edge of pad, so 17.3" laptop extends an inch over the rear of the pad with an inch gap up front, and is not centered3) the USB ports on the right side of cooling pad means cables inserted extend out several inches, interfering with mouse placed on that side of laptop. Would much prefer USB ports on rear of cooling pad so they are out of the way and do not take up space on either side.Would not recommend this cooling pad due to the above issues, and will purchase another brand that does not have these significant flaws
