Hampton Creek Just Mayo, 30 oz

I transitioned from vegetarianism to veganism in January. I had a hard time finding a replacement for Hellman's regular mayonnaise. I tried making my own and numerous egg free versions. All had a very sharp vinegar taste, which I didn't like. I wanted to try this mayo but I could not find it in shops or online within the UK. I was initially apprehensive about buying this one due to the price and not knowing if I would like it. My initial taste was that it has a milder taste of vinegar than all the others I've tried, which is nice, the colour and texture is closer to the mayo I was used to (it's thick and creamy) and it tastes great with everything... as I have mayo with practically everything. This mayo has a shorter shelf life... (around three month) but I received it and before the end of the initial target date of delivery arrived I was already trying to ration the bits left on the side of an empty jar.. haha. Fortunately delivery to London is actually quite fast so my second jar has arrived just in time, but I won't use it until I get all the bits on the sides off... it's expensive. However if you factor in the cost of buying smaller jars of a different brand to equal the size of this jar, there isn't that much difference. I actually don't miss my Hellman's anymore, which I used to do when I tried other things.

My girlfriend and I are trying to eat more vegan food and mayo is her biggest weakness, she has it with everything! This Just Mayo is awesome, so close to the big brand mayo I couldn't tell the difference, though she did pick it out in a blind taste, but she still loves it and has asked me to get more! Wish this was in the supermarkets, great vegan product!

Yuck yuck yuck

Having just recently found out that I’m intolerant to eggs...life has changed completely for me diet wise..always have loved mayonnaise so tried this Just Mayo...I’m so pleased...tastes almost exactly the same as mayo with egg!!love it...totally recommend!

This is my first foray into "free from" mayo and it did not disappoint. I have been a stalwart Hellman's user for years but this has won me over to switch. Will buy again.

Delicious mayonnaise, one of the nicest I’ve ever had. A bit expensive but worth every penny. I would recommend if you have food intolerance like me for eggs, mustard and sunflower.

This is definitely the best dairy free mayo we’ve tasted but at the price of it only my daughter who is lactose intolerant is allowed to use it!!!!

Wow! Just Amazing! The most delicious mayo I ever bought in my whole life! We tested a comparison with another normal mayo with eggs with friends and they all liked the Just Mayo better!
