Bedtime for Monsters is Ed Vere's hilarious monsterish tale - with a big twist! What if a monster were looking for a bedtime snack? And what if that snack just happened to be you? GULP! He's getting closer and closer . . . and his tummy is rumbling REALLY loudly. You'd be very scared! BUT all this monster actually wants is a lovely monster-sized goodnight kiss. Night, night! Ed Vere is also the author and illustrator of Mr Big , the story about the big Gorilla with the big heart and The Getaway . Banana , his book for preschoolers, is the perfect book about manners but only has two words - 'yes please' of course! Ed Vere studied fine art at Camberwell College of Art and has been writing and illustrating children's books since 1999. He is published in both England and the US. Ed is also a painter, working from his studio in East London and is represented by galleries in London and Los Angeles. After a year and a half living in Barcelona, Ed now lives and works in London. Look out for the new animation of Fingers McGraw... coming soon! Review: Very happy customer! - Great book (I bought 3), great price, very good condition & very good delivery time. I expected it to arrive at the later date that was given (between 10th-13th- I thought it might show up on the 13th) but it came on the 10th. So all in all I'm very happy! Review: Great story - I bought this as it was part of school curriculum. It’s a great story and my children love it

Bedtime terrors!
A great pre-bedtime read. My four year old loved it. Great illustrations too. Ed Here is a reliable picture book auteur and this is one of his best.

a great read
This is a fabulous read, our 6 month old baby loves and we love it. Also a great opportunity to give kisses and cuddles before bedtime. Like the quirky style of illustrations as well. I'm sure we will still be enjoying this book in years to come.

Great but scary!!!!!!
Great book - slightly scary for a two year old!!!!! My older kids loved the story though and I guess it helps with the thought that monsters aren't scary at bedtime!!!

Lovely book
Brilliant illustrations and story. My 8 month old loves when I read this. It is his second favorite book after "Max The Brave" which is also an Ed Vere book!

Bedtime for Monsters
My 2 year old loves it. We had a terrific time when reading it for the first time. Now we already know the monster is not coming to eat as up, but it is still fun. Children love monters, dinosaurs, etc + at the end thy all go to sleep = a perfect book for bedtime reading!

Preschool suspense
Absolutely the love the buildup to the fun ending where the monster just wants a bedtime kiss. Fabulously written to encourage embellishment to add to the suspense as it is read out loud.
