Creative Haven Summer Scenes Coloring Book

This was a gift and it went down very well. The paper was a nice quality and you could remove the pages from the book. Think I will purchase one myself, and will most likely buy the others in the series. Just love to colour!

I've bought a few of the Creative Haven books but this is the only one that really appealed to me, the others I gave away. I did all but two of the pictures and while they got a bit samey, I really did enjoy spending hours colouring these. Just wish the other scenic books they publish were of a similar standard because I'm finding it hard to get decent scene books. I'm glad I got this one but wish I hadn't wasted my money on the other creative haven ones that I got - personal taste, that's all.

I love Creative Haven colouring books. The images are really nice. Only downer is that the paper is quite thin so really coloured pencils only. I did contact the publisher about the quality of the paper and was told that this keeps the price down which is fair enough. Worth buying.

I love Creative Haven books, they are such good quality and only printed on one side. The scenes in this book are really nice and I'm looking forward to colouring in it.

This book has a wide variety of summer pictures to color from boating, beach and garden scenes. I thought I would have colored one of the boating scenes first but instead I was drawn to color this house that I left a picture of and I am really enjoying coloring this picture and I especially enjoyed coloring the house. I colored this picture with TomBow Irojiten colored pencils and they worked wonderfully with the paper in this coloring book. These pencils are from Japan and they are one of my favorite colored pencils because they are so smooth with unique colors. They are also sold here on Amazon. This is my first Creative Haven coloring book by Teresa Goodridge and I am looking forward to buying her Autumn Scenes coloring book for fall because it is full of pumpkins, jack o' lanterns and even a scarecrow with a jack o' lantern for a head.

Wunderschöne Motive! Etwas anspruchsvoll , aber es macht bestimmt Spaß diese tollen Sommerszenen mit Farbe Leben einzuhauchen! Das Papier ist nicht sehr dick, ob Marker durchscheinen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich mit Künstlerstiften male! Und mit diesen Stiften werden die Bilder auch wunderschön! Ich habe schon mehrere Bücher/Hefte aus dieser Serie und sie haben alle eher dünneres Papier, wobei ich das auch sehr mag, da das Papier schön glatt ist! Wenn man nicht gerade in 8 Schichten malen möchte, sind die Ergebnisse auch sehr schön! Ich liebe die Reihe der Creativ Haven Hefte, es gibt die schönsten , abwechslungsreichen Motive für kleines Geld! Meistens schon vorperforiert, und wenn nicht, kann man sie gut mit einem Cutter trennen! Bis jetzt waren die Bilder immer einseitig, so kann man auch mal Bilder aufhängen ohne ein Motiv zu verschenken! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Recomendo a todos, sobretudo adultos, as ilustrações são lindas e bem elaboradas. O tamanho do livro é bom e as folhas não são nem finas e nem grossas demais. Muito bom.

Che dire, libro bellissimo, pieno di disegni tutti interessanti. 1 disegno per ogni pagina, senza paura di rovinare il disegno sul retro qualora si preferisse utilizzare matite acquerellabili. Non vedo l'ora stasera di iniziare a colorarlo con tante tecniche diverse... Che meraviglia, immagino che anche gli altri dello stesso autore saranno ugualmente belli e da comprare assolutamente :-)
