Great strings for electric and acoustic guitar
I have used this brand of strings many times. I find their price reasonable. The strings themselves give off a great tone and are quite smooth. Your fingers don’t drag or make that strong a metal scraping twang when moving up and down the frets like some other brands do. I get good longevity with these strings and their tone stays great up to the point of a break when I then replace the entire set.

Sound great play great and last a long time.
One of my Fav brands of strings. You cant go wrong with these they don't feel like a heavy coating and feel nice to play. They also last a long time, perfect for that guitar you only pick up now and again as well.

Really good if you have a problem with corrosion
For a long time, I was using Ernie ball strings I would change them properly once a week, but with these ones I’ve had a set on for almost a month and I’m only just thinking about changing them so yeah kind of crazy. Really good strings highly recommend.

A must buy for anyone who needs longer lasting strings
for the longest time, i played uncoated strings and wondered why i would only get a month at most out of them before they lost their tone, became corroded and most importantly lost their intonation. i tried many things, using products to try make them last longer, wiping my strings religiously after playing, trying different brands, but i still never got more than a month out of them. i picked up a set of optiwebs after hearing rave reviews about all the benefits these strings, and i have to say after playing these i dont think im going to switch back to regular strings any time soon. whereas the strings i used to play would be corroded within a month, i have a set of optiwebs on another guitar that still hasn't even lost its shine or its intonation yet in AT LEAST 2 months. you might argue the tone of elixirs isnt quite as good as an uncoated string, however, in my opinion the difference in tone is negligible. these have almost the exact same tone as an uncoated string with none of the issues that comes with them, especially if you're like me and you run through strings quickly. there has also been no issues with the coating fraying or peeling off over time. the only real negative of these strings is that if you were previously a long time user of uncoated strings, you might have a difficult time adjusting to the feel of them and adjusting your technique to them, even though this is very much a personal thing. the first day or two of trying these strings was a nightmare for me personally until i got used to them, however, once you get used to them they feel great. overall, i can't recommend these strings enough, especially if you're getting tired of constantly having to go out and buy new strings because they corrode in 3 weeks.

My go to strings
These last an insane amount of time compared to regular nickel wound strings. I have the kind of sweat that will ruin a set of strings after one gig or a few practices and these will last me weeks. They feel good, don't rust and I'm not worried about snapping a string.

For those who hate string change.
If your a player who likes the zing of newly fitted strings , say Ernie Ball, you fit new before every gig, then these are not for you, if you hate string changing then these are a must, sure they don't zing but they are still toneful , they hold their tune, and they last so long , my first set have been on for over three months , still not showing any sign of degradation, still shiny bright , as long as you wipe them down after every play, I play an average 4 hours every day of the week and still don't feel they need changing, more expensive but way more economical. Edi, I actually bought these from Amazon warehouse, supposedly with a damaged packet, on trying to fit the second set it quickly became apparent they had been taken off of a guitar, the ball ends were bent and the strings did not reach the tuners because they had been cut off, so caution with warehouse promoted product.

Must have for floating trem systems!
High quality strings with a long life and stellar tone. Have been a Slinky guy the whole 25 years of playing. Recently purchased a Double locking trem system, and didn't want strings that go dull after a few practices since setting up a floating bridge is fairly time consuming. These strings go a long long way. Only change them when one breaks. Even a new string when an older set matches tone once broken in, which only takes about a week so you don't need to change the whole every time a string breaks. More money up front saves you a bunch of money down the road with Elixirs. And the tone and feel is top notch! If you have a floating trem system I highly recommend using Elixir!

Quality strings!
Some of the best string out there! I was turned onto these after I started playing and rehearsing live 12hrs-15hrs a week. I was using just whatever, and I noticed my strings would loose top end and deaden within 1-2 months with Earnie Ball. I like the cheaper strings for replacement and if playing gigs that require fresh strings nightly. But for most players that want strings that’ll last 6-8 months…these are the strings. They won’t always get that much, but sound wise when that do last long they sound crisp still. Great for recording and busy gig months. Just pack some cheap ones for spares. Although string breakage has been rare for me with Elixrs.

Best guitar strings PERIOD
I've been using these on my guitars for over 20 years now. When I buy a new guitar, the first thing I do is put a set of these on it. They feel great under the fingers, they sound like new strings for months even though I play for a couple of hours almost every day, and I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a break that wasn't due to something like a saddle / post burr despite my flagrant j-rock unison bending antics. Also, if you've got a nickel allergy like I do, Elixirs are 100% your best option. Some people balk at the price, but that's just silly; the money you save from replacing your strings 1/3 as often will more than offset the added cost per pack.
