Liquid Descaler

Good value kit, for a Melitta bean to cup machine. Allows you to try all the items you may need. Although Melitta should include this with a new machine.

Used this as I noticed a buildup of limescale on the heating element of our baby’s steriliser, lifted it off in no time with little effort 👌

Does a good job. My appliance is clean and the product hasn't degraded the taste of my coffee.

Purchased to clean my Melitta Solo Perfect Milk Coffee Machine. Kit contains:1 liquid descaler solution – A 250ml bottle provides 2 descaling cycles – required for cleaning cycle4 cleaning pads – 1 pad required each time to clean Cappuccinatore component -required for cleaning cycle1 filter cartridge – optional use and I’m not sure yet if this will extend the time required between descaling cyclesI microfibre cloth – not necessary, any soft cloth will do1 brush – useful to remove ground coffee that mysteriously ends up behind the brewing unit but you could use an old/unused make-up brushThe first thing I need to highlight is that there is absolutely no guidance either on the box or the individual packaging of each item. Thankfully the Melitta coffee machine manual is easy to follow plus there are some tutorials available on-line; otherwise I’d still have the descaling warning flashing on my machine. Now that I know what I am doing and what products I need to thoroughly clean my machine, I can be a little more selective choosing my items as there is no need for another full kit.

Does the job well and I cannot criticise it, but there are less expensive alternatives that are just as effective.

Not sure why the rate feature includes Flavour....I am guessing not really nice if I was crazy enough to drink it. As for the intended use of descaling my Lavazza Mode Mio coffee machine it was fine. Not better or worse than others I have tried and I think I still have a limescale problem as some of the water still gets diverted to the pod holder.
