Q: Would this be a suitable upgrade on the at95e on my Audio Technica lp120?

Yes is the simple answer. You will realise better tracking, detail resolution and tonal neutrality. I use the MP110 on an Audio Technica AT-LP5 turntable which sounds so much better than the AT95EX it was supplied with.

Q: Would this be a good fit for a Thorens TD166 MkII with tp63 tonearm? I ask specifically, as the screws have to be fitted pointing upwards

I have one on a Thorens TD 160 and Linn Basic arm. It does sound great. Clear reproduction without any embellishment and fantastic range. Big improvement on my Linn cartridge and I thought great value.

Yes - the DP300 F uses a standard Haipin made OEM mechanism with standard fixing.

Q: Given the larger size of this cartridge will it fit onto the headshell on the pioneer pl-12d without any other adjustment?

Maybe wouldn't "look" good but it fits! every cartridge fits onto the headshell.... go for it....!
