Convenient and versatile soup maker
I’m really pleased with the Tefal PerfectMix Cook Soup Maker and Blender. It’s very easy to use and makes homemade soup much more convenient. You can simply add the ingredients, choose a programme and let it do the work. The soup comes out smooth and well blended, and the built-in cooking function means there’s no need to stand over the hob. It’s also useful for more than just soup, as the blending function works well for smoothies and other recipes. Cleaning is fairly straightforward too. Overall, it’s a handy and versatile kitchen appliance that saves time and makes preparing homemade meals much easier.

Quality blender
This blender is well-constructed and not too loud. It offers multiple modes and impressive power. It’s easy to use and clean. However, the glass jug is heavy, especially when full. Overall, it’s good value for money.

I absolutely love this soup maker!
I absolutely love my Tefal soup maker and it has quickly become one of my favourite kitchen appliances. It makes making homemade soup so much easier and saves a lot of time compared with preparing everything separately on the hob. It’s really convenient to be able to add all the ingredients, choose the setting and let the soup maker do the work. The soup comes out lovely and smooth, and it has made me much more likely to make homemade soup regularly. The only downside I’ve found is that it can be quite difficult to clean. The actual soup maker is quite a large appliance, and cleaning around some of the areas can be a little awkward. I think this is worth knowing before buying, particularly if you have limited sink space. That said, the cleaning issue wouldn't put me off buying it again because I genuinely love how convenient it is and how much use I get from it. Overall, a brilliant kitchen appliance and one I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys homemade soup.

Perfect Blender for Great Smoothies
I didn’t get wrong of choosing this amazing blender. A high quality made, you can make the best smoothies freshly. Easy to use and clean, a lil bit heavy though but it shows here the durability of the glass jug. Blade are so sharp so be careful when cleaning it, not too noisy when using.

Easy to use...
This is a heavy item,no flimsy little machine...it's very straightforward to use, quiet whilst cooking, be prepared it's a little noisy when blending but it's so efficient it's done in no time (4 or so consecutive blends after the end of cooking time last about 8/10 seconds each time) love the cleaning function, simple to use.Be careful though the jug/glass gets very hot....made a gorgeous soup with fresh veggies from my allotment 😋 Will be using my Christmas present soup maker quite a bit I think and for the other things it can be used for....very happy with this all singing and dancing machine 😃💕

Ok, but not as good as I had hoped
I bought the Tefal Blender & Soup Maker Perfectmix Cook in October 2024 and was initially super pleased with it. There are a few things that could definitely be improved. I started out with steaming vegetables, smooth soups and a sauce, which all produced good results and I was able to use the self clean mode and also remove the blades to clean the jug/blades without any issues. Then I went on to do chunky soups (I've made 3) and I found that when the soup was done, there was burnt food in the bottom of the jug which can be really challenging to clean of. And while the first time using the self clean mode went OK, the last couple of times, quite a bit of soapy water came out of the top of the lid - 1st time, I was not aware that that would/could happen, as I had used less water and soap than the manual said and the water ran down the sides and ended up inside the base unit and on all the table. Last time, I had stayed close by and was able to turn the cleaning mode off, when water started coming out of the top. Update November 2025: Due to food getting burnt on one side, I don't use it as much as I had hoped I would. Honestly I don't think it was worth the prize.

5*
Perfect, just what I needed for liquidising my cats food while she was ill. And now its been great for my blending of smoothies and soups. So easy to use, can choose pulsating or graduated speed.

Good
I'd give it 5 stars if it had an option to turn the beeps off when the buttons are pressed, a soundless mode. and if the instructions weren't awful. Its not in the garbage because eventually figured out how to get the bottom open against all odds, the instructions where worthless, it took hours and many people couldn't do it. It was a pure divine miracle working that out. Its pretty heavy duty and not the easiest thing to work out. Even just then i took another look again and was like oh i didn't know that oh how it works, i still didn't even know how. With instruction it be very easy, without instruction however its can be a garbage job. Take the lid off put it upside down on the counter top, then press the yellow bit, being sure to only be touching that yellow bit, its a very slime area, need short finger nails if going to it from the other direction because when it flings up his the the top nail and hurts. So press down only on that little yellow bit, cant be over any of the black bits at all, then that will half unlock it, after that need to press it down again, and then the entire bottom metal ring with fling up like spring loaded. Then when are closing it, need to press that black latch bit back in towards the jar. With some instruction, practice and memory its fine. Looks like it'll last along time. Symbols light up, but i'm not good at symbols, its a pitty the lables writing light don't with it, makes it hard to read. I got it on top of the fridge at head height so i can actually read the stuff on it. But would be nice if did that little bit more so don't have to. I can see max but which could be bigger, bottom one probably means minimum but is instead called steam. But the molded measurements in the glass are clear, if they were also black, that be good because they are really hard to see. Buttons don't look like they will unstick, blister or peel off like all the others i'v had, that all soon did.

Another Durable Tefal Product That Didn’t Disappoint
I’ve only owned a few Tefal products because they are more expensive than many other brands, but every Tefal item I’ve bought has proven to be very durable. Their pans and iron have lasted for years, so I decided to invest in this Tefal blender as well. I saved up for this blender because I wanted something reliable but couldn’t justify the much higher price of a Vitamix. I’m very happy with my choice. The blender is powerful, easy to use, and handles everyday blending tasks very well. It feels sturdy and well-made, just like my other Tefal products. So far, it has been a great value for the money. If you’re looking for a quality blender from a trusted brand without spending Vitamix-level prices, I would definitely recommend this Tefal blender.

Faulty
Broke upon first use, very loud rattling noise and bits of plastic fell out. Seems like the motors fan broke apart immediately.

Not the best
I’ve been using this mixer, but the cleaning mode couldn’t fully clean the bowl, especially the part that keeps it waterproof. Unfortunately, I’m unable to use it anymore due to this issue. It's disappointing as it worked well initially. Hope customer service can help resolve this...
