I really fancied these lovely looking ice balls, so I was interested to see how easy they were to make.They arrived quickly in attractive retail packaging, so would make an unusual present. I followed the instructions, washing the individual parts well in soapy water before drying them thoroughly. I put the two halves back together securely and began filling the individual balls using the small just supplied. The instructions say that 55ml is about right for welch ball, but I didn't always follow this and overfilled a few. I just mopped up excess water with a paper towel. I then placed the caps on carefully (don't push too hard or the silicone will squash down), and put in the freezer. I am pleased to say that the silicone is strong enough not to bend out of shape when carrying, so there were no spillages.When I took them out of the freezer they were perfect large ice balls, about 5cms in diameter. They came out of the moulds easily, and looked great in the glass. As they are so large, they take a long while to melt, so they don't make your drink watery, just cold. They would look stunning at parties, and you could also flavour them, e.g. with fruit, squash or alcohol.No more boring quick melting ice cubes for me!

Would give less then 1 star if it was possible because this product is awful. I ordered this (8 ice ball tray with stoppers) and instead recieved a tray for 10 tiny ice balls that does not include the stoppers or the jug to fill it with. This makes filling the balls impossible without also filling up the entire tray (wasting a lot of water). The included filter does not fit the holes and so is completely useless and if you try to pick up the tray with any water in it at all (even the little bit I managed to get in eventually) the bottom comes away from the top and all the water will spill out anyway.

This is a good quality product but was a lot bigger than I expected.

Makes lovely ice balls. Small thing but one little top was missing. Still works well tho.

I was very excited to receive my new purchase only to be dodsapointed upon arrival.When I opened the box the ice container was missing all of the lids that’s are supposed to come with the product.Otherwise a perfect circle shape of ice cannot be formed from the product.Very disappointed. Waste of money

This is awesome. We have had the single ball ones and they're kinda fiddly but this is great with 8 in one tray. Ice holds for a longer time than the weaker old fashioned trays.
