D'Addario EJ43 Pro-Arte Nylon Classical Guitar Strings, Light Tension

Quality strings at a fair price. Installed onto my Ramirez R2 classical spanish acoustic guitar and generally sound very good whilst being easy on the fingers due to a relatively low tension. As usual the clear nylon g string sounds just a little dull so I changed it for a 28 gauge (24 will also work but is easier to break when fitting) wound version of better tone - same make and bought from same seller making the total set price about £16 which isn't bad at all considering the overall benefits of ease of play and quality sound. I expect there are probably better sounding strings available but at a higher cost. Best to buy these using Amazon as elswhere can risk fakes.

I restrung my Yamaha - and love the new sound. Expect a warm, mellow profile with good balance between basses and trebles, though the G string may sound slightly dull to some. Harmonics blend well, and intonation holds up nicely after settling. You get superb projection for light tension, rivaling higher-end options like Savarez.​ Durability and Value? They are easy to fit - the strings settle after 24 hours of tuning and stretching, with basses stabilizing quickly. Being low tension they last well without frequent breaks, and offer strong value for consistent quality. I repurchase these because of experience over years of use on other instruments = 5 star

Very nice strings. They took quite a long time to settle. They have made playing barre chords easier and I think I will I will use these in future. They are not too expensive.

Used and abused this product for 3 months. Right off the bat, it didn't hold tune for a good 3 weeks. E is a tad weak but I can live with it. A could have been richer. Very flat tone. D is spot on. Very satisfactory when playing arpeggio. Nylons are a tad muted but satisfactory. Standard daddario is a better choice over this set.

Ces cordes pour guitare classique D'Addario light tension sont exceptionnelles! Elles produisent un son chaud, elles sont très confortables, elles ont un excellent rapport qualité/prix et résistent bien à un usage fréquent du capodastre. Elles sont parfaites pour jouer aussi bien des pièces classiques, du Flamenco que du Rock. Je les recommande. En revanche, pour des débutants à la guitare, je conseillerais plutôt les medium, car les cordes light "flottent" un peu sur la guitare, ce qui peut rendre un peu tricky l'apprentissage.

Paso muchas horas improvisando jazz y prefiero un tacto muy flojo sin perder precisión, por lo que estas cuerdas me permiten no tener que apretar demasiado los dedos sin sacrificar el sonido. Además son de muy buena calidad, las recomiendo y las uso en mi guitarra clásica y en mi ovation amplificada.
