Truly a Permanent Fix! Gorilla Paste Solved My Persistent Leak
Application: The product is exactly what it claims to be—a thick, rubberized paste. It has the consistency of thick peanut butter, which is ideal for bridging small cracks, filling gaps, and coating larger areas where movement or weathering is an issue. I applied it using a stiff disposable brush and a putty knife, spreading it evenly across the problematic area. Be warned: it's messy, so wear gloves and keep mineral spirits nearby for cleanup. Since I chose the white color, it blended decently with the trim, though it definitely dries with a noticeably rubberized, textured finish, not a smooth, paint-grade look.

Ordered this 18 months ago. Just got around to opening it for the first time and the entire thing is dry and hardened. Seems it would have worked well considering how well cured it is inside the can but shouldn't have had such a short shelf life considering it was factory sealed...

Pretty good stuff
It was dry around the edges but actually it works well for what I needed it for. If you leave the unopened can in the sun for a bit it will soften up. I’ll buy more if needed. Time will tell as to how it holds up.

Seals well
I used it to seal when I redid the ends on a gutter with a unique cross-section (can’t find replacement). I put it over where the metal layers lapped, not over a hole.

Does Not Spread Very Well. Rolls Up On Itself Instead
As far as keeping water out, not a problem. It will do that, IF you can get to lay down.. The problem with this stuff is that it is like trying to spread an innertube. When I opened the new can, it wasn't even touching the inner can walls. The machine spit it in the can and literally hadn't moved from when it was put in. It is very, very thick and unspreadable. When using a putty knife and trying to spread it, it won't adhere to the base ( new vent flashing and new shingles). It just kept rolling up on itself, basically following my hand as I was trying to smear it. It is too think if your trying to push it into tiny cracks and crevices. I tried using a putty knife and sealing the inside of a rain gutter with it. It would not leave the putty knife and would just flatten as I tried to smear it. Even letting it sit in the closed can and in the hot sun didn't soften it up, it didn't want to budge. I ended up switching it out and getting a tube of flashing material for the caulk gun. It was much easier to work with, spread easily and I was done. This is the first "Gorilla" brand item that did not work out for me and I would not recommend it.

Works like a charm
Saved me from water emergency! Sealed a crack caused by over tightening a joint in a 4” irrigation water supply pipe. Gave me 2 weeks to get this pipe cut out and permanently repaired.
