So far so good. The night setting is very quiet. Works quickly on kitchen smells from cooking. Overall dust level in house noticeably better after a few weeks of use (we have two cats). Bought another one!

i rewieng I'm reviewing this product after couple month of used because i had been thoroughly looking for something for my mother's room to help filter out dust and odors, this device really delivers the air in the room has improved tremendously- the odors are gone, and it very easy to her to use. it doesn't take up much space and runs quietly. I'm very happy with this purchase!! .

Purchased over 10 days ago, and working out well, for now! Reading other reviews made me a bit sceptical about its operation; on auto, it (fan speed) remains low, while vacuuming or blowing out my Vornado air circulators, senses incoming dust and ramps up speed to clean air of dust and debris. Then settles back down once it senses dust intake has ceased. Cleaning the pre-filter screens is somewhat difficult; using a dusting brush on my Electrolux vacuum gets rid of larger particles but smaller ones remain. A microfiber sponge did clean off the rest of the particles. I'm extremely sensitive to dust, have allergies, works well with that, air seems to be cleaner, feels like I'm breathing easier. The smokers downstairs beneath my apartment (an absolute hovel) I can still smell, so it isn't doing much for that, especially in my bathroom, which is in the other end of my small one bedroom apartment. Filter life now at 98%, not bad, considering that I have blown out so much dust, and this apartment accumulates dust worse than any other place I know of. Since it is early days, will update its progress as time goes by. Air filtration units are an absolute necessity regardless of which brand one buys; one cannot put a price on one's own health, especially mine. I feel what I paid for this unit (5440i) is well worth it!

Smaller than expected. Cheaply made. Functional. Expensive. Very expensive. Intake through the underside and top each with a prefilter mesh layer. Filters are outrageously overpriced. App is slick but telemetry for data collection for selling my anonymized data is sad. Blue air is a solid recognized reliable brand and as a result they'll take all they can from their consumer base that helped them succeed.
