2 LB. JAR (No Funnel/Applicator) Foaming root control for sewer lines and septic systems

It works and actually kills the roots that keep getting in my plumbing pipe and I use it every 6 months. Follow the instructions and it works. It foams nicely to cover the pipe 360 degree which is important when the pipe is 8ft under ground and roots could be coming from any direction and great drainage without smell. It beats the $7000 qout from several plumbing companies to replace 20ft pipe and that was 5 years ago that when I started using the product. Thanks

Worth the money to buy this as we’ve had roots growing in our sewer pipes from bushes lined up along the fence. We use this on average twice a year, and it helps a lot to kill off any roots that have grown into our sewer pipe underground. It’s easy to use. Just make sure you have a funnel when you pour in the recommended amount into your toilet and flush it in the evening, making sure not to use the toilet that night so the product has a chance to work. There is no smell, but make sure you cover your face and eyes because there’s a little bit of a powdered haze that comes up once you pour it in the toilet. Would recommend!

I do like this stuff it does work. When I first bought this several years ago it worked better it really foamed up and cleaned everything. Currently when I use this it doesn't foam up like it used to. I cannot flush the toilet twice to get it down the line just once is good otherwise it goes out in the line too far out or into the main line. It is expensive and I am looking for an alternative way to clean my line out. Overall good product does clean out roots

The stuff actually works. It was recommended to me by the plumber. But if you have serious damage to your drain line, this may not be your solution. But don't blame the product if that's the situation. Be sure to follow instructions to dose it gradually and not to use plumbing while it does its job.

This product was easy to use, I used gloves and wore a mask not knowing if it would raise a lot of dust. It wasn’t bad at all, as soon as the powder hit the water it started bubbling and foaming. I left it in the toilet bowl overnight and by morning it had drained away. The leftover cleaned right off the bowl with the brush. I haven’t had any issues since with tree roots causing blockages. I will definitely use it again.

RootX works better than any other product of this type that I have tried

I have a stubborn Sycamore tree in my front yard that LOVES growing roots into my sewer line. Since I started using this product twice a year I have saved $300 a year in drain cleaning services. My only advice, if you need to pour this down your basement toilet, is to have 10-15 gallons of water ready to pour down the toilet AFTER you flush the toilet and pour in the powder. This powder foams up like an impressive science project, so flush the toilet and immediately pour all the powder into the bowl of the toilet. Pour the 10-15 gallons into the toilet bowl last. I will continue to use this product twice a year to help keep my sewer line clear because it’s working and cost effective.
