Real Italian espresso
Caffè Borbone Respresso Black is the real deal. The moment I opened the package, the amazing aroma hit me — rich, bold, and exactly what you’d expect from true Italian coffee. The flavor is strong and full-bodied, yet incredibly smooth, with a beautiful creamy finish that makes every cup feel like something from a café in Italy. If you love real espresso with intensity and character, this is a perfect choice. It tastes authentic, smells incredible, and delivers that classic Italian coffee experience right at home. Highly recommended! ☕️🇮🇹

Great tasting cheap Nespresso caps
We had these in an Air B&B in Rome and thought they were lovely. I particularly like the smell of the coffee when you rip the small pouch open... and for the money, it is a bargain.

have a 70%+ failure rate...
Seriously, this is a product one should avoid. Of all the different pods I have used and am currently using these are the worst. These pods have a 70%+ failure rate. For every four pods used three failed and sometimes all four failed. The aluminium caps are not secured correctly and with the heat from the water they come apart, with many needing to be carefully removed from within the pod holder. Those that don't stick inside the pod holder still come apart partially so one does have to rinse the pod holder after evry single use, to wash away the coffee grounds otherwise one will be drinking gritty coffee. The sad thing is that the flavour of the coffee is very good, the strength is very good but these things waste a lot of time and energy. I have used other pods from the same brand and they have worked very well, with a failure rate of only around 2% to 3%. So, one would be right to question why these fail so much? The answer is simple... where other pods are 100% aluminium these aren't. This product is 90% plastic. The pods are plastic and the cap is aluminium. The 100% aluminium pods are far superior is because aluminium lids will weld themselves to the aluminium pods thus they stay on. The aluminium caps on plastic pods appear to be stuck on with some sort of adhesive as they come away too easily. Although I will be avoiding these pods in the future I will still purchase other pods from this brand as they do make a great coffee and it's only this one product that has issues. One other thing that really gets to me is the fact that each and every pod, with this product has a (I won't swear at this point, even though I feel I need to) plastic packet. What an environmental disaster this product is. Plastic pods and each one is a plastic wrapper? Currently there is enough plastic waste in this world to completely fill the whole of Austrralia and it is growing. Plastic is "not" recyleable as claimed. When they say plastic is recycled it simply means it has been cut and chopped to be used for another plastic product. Even a major bed manufacturer messed with this and used plastic strips as a filler for the matresses and what a disaster that was. The matresses were so hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. One has to consider what happens to the plastic after it has been used for the second time? It can't be used again after that. It can't be melted down to make something else like glass and metals can. It can't be cut and sanded to produce another product as wood can. At the end of it, all plastic ands up in a landfill somewhere. There is no reason why this product can not be 100% aluminium as the brand does produce such pods and they are good. It may be that I was just unlucky and got a bad box of these pods but it can't be just a one off as there must be a whole production run with the same issues as the failure rate is simply way too high. So, it will take some time for the whole of the bad batch to be bought up and a better batch to be available, assuming the manufacturer is aware (they should be) of the issues and have corrected them. So, if you want a good coffee and don't mind spending more time cleaning your pod holder and picking aluminium lids out of it, than you do making and drinking the coffee then this is for you. However, if, like myself, you don't want that hassle and don't want gritty coffee then look for something better. I am not recommending these pods as they are poor quality, poor value and the worst pods I have ever used. See the pic that shows 3:4 failure rate.

Delicious coffee but not eco-friendly pods
The Borbone coffee is just delicious, one of the best commercial brands on the market. So what's wrong? Every single pod is wrapped in non recicling plastic. Something that bothers me and that precludes me to buy it again

Strong Flavour for real coffee lovers
I Ordered this coffee pods for my Nespresso machine. I always Ordered the Nespresso Branded ones (Napoli flavours) the strongest that i could find from them since being italian and an espresso lover i couldn't find anything strong enough in the supermarket. But since i tried them i will never go back. The price is on point for the quality and quantity, with Nespresso with the same money you get maybe the half in number. If you like strong and round flavours and you go for espresso usually you would grow to love them, like i did. So i really suggest them and hope that i will keep finding them so that i will never run out!

Doesn't fit
Arguably the best flavour I've had from a coffee pod since I started using nespresso. The flavour is rich, full and strong. So why 3 stars? They simply don't fit properly, they seem to have a single puncture hole in a plastic casing. I ended up wasting more than I drank. The plastic casing is an issue also, I know they are made in Italy but why not aluminium, it's recyclable in the UK and would expect some other countries. However I cannot recycle the plastic pods, combined with the fact they are then placed in plastic bags is just wasteful. It's an absolute shame because I won't buy them again, if they could implement a more compatible system then I would buy these every time

Caffè Borbone Café Respresso, Mélange Noir Review
I recently tried Caffè Borbone Café Respresso, Mélange Noir, and it has quickly become one of my favorite coffee blends. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience: Flavor and Aroma: Caffè Borbone Mélange Noir offers a rich, robust flavor that truly stands out. The dark roast brings out deep, intense notes of chocolate and a hint of smokiness, making each cup a delightful experience. The aroma is equally impressive, with a strong, inviting scent that fills the room as soon as you brew it. Crema and Body: One of the highlights of this blend is the impressive crema it produces. The thick, velvety crema adds a luxurious texture to the espresso, enhancing the overall drinking experience. The body of the coffee is full and satisfying, making it perfect for those who enjoy a hearty, substantial espresso. Versatility: While Caffè Borbone Mélange Noir is excellent as a straight espresso, it also works wonderfully in milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. The bold flavor holds up well against the milk, ensuring a balanced and flavorful cup every time. Packaging: The packaging is well-designed to preserve the freshness of the coffee. Each capsule is individually sealed, ensuring that the coffee retains its aroma and flavor until you’re ready to use it. The capsules are also compatible with Nespresso machines, making them convenient and easy to use. Value for Money: Considering the quality of the coffee, Caffè Borbone Mélange Noir offers great value for money. The premium taste and rich experience it provides are comparable to more expensive brands, making it an excellent choice for coffee lovers on a budget. Overall: Caffè Borbone Café Respresso, Mélange Noir is a standout coffee blend that delivers a rich, bold flavor and an exceptional espresso experience. Its impressive crema, full body, and versatility make it a must-try for any coffee enthusiast. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, affordable espresso option.

please don't buy this
If you value a good coffee this isn't for you. Stinks and tastes sour. Our coffee machine struggled with filling up the cup. It might be strong but it's just nasty!

Super quality and taste
The quality and taste is really good, nice strong coffee. I can just recommend it. side note: A bit too much wrapping, would be better to not wrap each separately, and ofc would be even better to have compostable capsules not alu, but well.
