This is an excellent high quality product - far better than more expensive versions I've seen in DIY stores. It's wider, thicker and sticker than a very expensive version of this product I bought from Homebase. Make my decorating a hassle free dream. It can be a little difficult to work with, it does like to stick to itself - think of a big roll of sellotape. But with perseverance and a bit of practice, it provides great protection. I wish I'd bought more of the stuff as I ran out just before the end of the job, hence buying a more expensive, worse version of this product. Highly recommended, just buy more than you need.

Does a great job

Good product that would have scored higher if it had said get two people to put it down It was quite fiddly to lay especially on stairs and it is a right bugger when it sticks to itself in the middle of putting down a long length. All that being said, when you've put it down it lasts a long time and really does a great job of protecting the carpet (if you don't puncture it!). And if you lay it pretty flat it also makes cleaning up between work sessions really easy. I would brush, hoover and then wash down with a damp cloth so that I could leave it for a few days between work sessions and it didn't annoy my wife too much......

Was perfect when we had plumbers in installing a new boiler. We found our rhythm with one person standing in front slowing rolling rolling and the other following pressing down the carpet protector with something sturdy like a block of wood, heavy book. Rolling out a bit, pressing down, then rolling out some more. When the work was completed it was easy to remove, the carpets where clean and were not sticky.

Used to cover a carpet in a kitten nursery. Stayed put, wipeable with plenty of coming and going . Takes two to put it down.

Used to cover carpet pre decorating. Roll and stroll makes it sound easy, not that easy takes a bit of time. Took two of us a while to make sure lined up with edges and no gaps. Also sticks to you as you do it if you have to move it. If you drop it like I did untangling will take a while. But worth it for good protection while painting. Used on stairs and that was more tricky, to do it in a safe way where you wouldn’t trip. Easier to remove than put down.

Wow!! I work on jet engines and there a walk in the park compared to working with this stuff !! Good luck !!

It's very easy to lay and much better than throwing dust covers around. Good length so i use in multiple rooms. It is very sticky though so make sure you line it first time.

We used other type of this plastic and it was just a little sticky. But this one is as sticky as normal office tape and we were afraid to use it to protect floor during renovation. I don't want to spend weeks then to clean a glue from floor after this sticky plastic. So as we have opend a pack we can't return it to Amazon. Even can't imagin what for we can use it.
