Not out of the box. You would need an audio interface with xlr inputs. I think they do a USB version but I would check if it works with xbox

Yes it would work at home it's not just a studio device, I use it for Zoom and recording to Reason. There are a couple to things you need to know, first it's a XLR connector so wouldn't be able to connect directly to a computer; second it requires 48V phantom power so you'll need a mixing desk or interface to connect it to that can provide this. It you're doing voice overs at home I'd go for a mic that has a direct USB connection to you computer.
