Follow the instructions to the T.
I am 44yrs old and the peach fuzz along my jaw has become a tad thicker. I'm guessing it's a hormone thing as us ladies get older. Anyways, I purchased this and it arrived the very next day. Because I know this is a chemical made to burn the hair from your body, I feel it's important to stress following instructions to the T. I washed my face because the instructions did state to make sure you are working with a fresh and clean bare face. I bought both Watermelon and Coconut but for the first round of use I gave the Watermelon Scented on a try. It smells good, but the scent does not last long at all. I only applied to my cheeks and jaw line because those are my fuzzy area on my face. I left it on there for only the 5 mins it specified to leave it on. I used makeup pad to wipe excess off and the washed my face with cool water. Now, it absolutely does leave a burning tingling sensation behind, so I discovered that applying afterburner aloe gel (mine was refrigerated and feel so soothing) it calmed that sensation quite quickly and my cheeks were pink for only about 30 mins after that and it cleared. I was very satisfied with end result, it removed all my peach fuzz and left a very silky smooth feel afterwards. I do recommend but again, please follow the instructions closely.

Works great no breakouts
I really love facial hair remover. It works really well, and it actually smells OK. My face is sensitive, and I break out when I wax. This product doesn't make me break out at all. Works as intended.

Much better than NAIR 20 years ago...still could use some improvement
So the last time I attempted to use NAIR was as a teenager 20 years ago....I hated it. I used it on my legs and it smelled like poison to the point where I thought I would faint from the fumes and on top of that, it didn't do anything. Not a single leg hair was removed. And now today, I have been annoyed with how frequently I have to shave my face recently. I guess we get more peach fuzz as we age? Anyways, it was annoying me and I was tired of shaving but afraid of waxing and can't afford laser removal, so I decided to try NAIR again. This time, not only was the product much more potent, but it actually worked pretty well! I did leave it on a bit too long, I think because in my head I remembered NAIR not working in the past. Next time I use it, I will actually try removing a patch from my cheeks around the 3 or 4 minute mark. Five minutes was actually a bit too much. It stung pretty badly to wipe off. The skin/hair on my jaw is tougher than what's on my cheeks though, because that area could've probably used an extra minute or two. But anyways, for the first time using it, I'm pretty happy with the results. Some tiny peach fuzz hairs remain, but they are all very short, fine, and light in color and don't really bother me. It was the longer and/or thicker areas that did, mostly on my cheeks. Be ready with the vaseline or aloe gel after using this, though. Definitely don't apply any actives before or after. Just a super gentle cleanser, this, and then a thick ointment. I did this and while it burned a bit taking it off and for a little while after and my skin was a bit pink/red, I did it before bed and when I woke up my skin was fine again. I still didn't use any actives that day just to be safe, but I started using gentle actives again the next day and went back to my normal skincare routine the following day and did not experience any further irritation. I would say based on all of these comments that if it's your first time, you should only do a small area, and you might also want to test if the hair is removed after about 3 minutes instead of waiting the full 5. You can always apply a bit more if it's not coming off yet. Just try to use it for the least amount of time possible to be effective and then heavily hydrate your face afterwards. Hypochlorous acid spray (the active in Tower 28 SOS, but I use a generic) was also great for soothing/calming the redness down.

PCOS is a hefty go-against
I thought that nair would be my best bet when it comes to the mustache and beard that PCOS is bringing on for me, however, it just doesn't stand up to it. I used it for the first time, and it left my face baby smooth with a little bit of irritation, but nothing a little ice compress couldn't fix. What I didn't notice, was it left part of the pesky hairs I was trying to get rid of. YES, I'm one who shaves my face because the whiskers just come in multitudes and are NO match for my little set of tweezers. I wanted to avoid waxing, cause I've tried that and was left with irritation and a painful red faced mustache / beard. So, I thought nair did a pretty good job, I'd try it again. Well, I don't leave it on for more than 10min, right? I STILL get the irritation, left my face fairly smooth, however, I'm about 4 days into the aftermath, and I've got LIZARD SKIN. Legit, like, scaly dry skin. I tried EVERYTHING to get it to go away, from lotion to even possibly exfoliating. It didn't help, if anything I made it worse by making little scabs in some places. If this works for you, I'm SO glad, because the smell isn't terrible, I mean it really does have a slight scent of watermelon (except for when you go to wipe the product away and get the awful burnt smell of hair, per nair) and yes, before you ask I DID pluck the thick dark hairs before using. PCOS is a tough contender, and this guy does not do the trick for me.

No burning!!!!!
I’ve been chemically burning my face with hair removal products since high school to the point where I completely stopped using any nair products and just started shaving BUT thissss cream made me go back! The formula has came a long way and I’m so happy I was able to remove my girl mustache after only 6 min and no burning! Ahhh, I could cry. Little me would’ve appreciated this so much in high school 😅

No burns here
I was worried after some reviews stated they had burns from this product. I used to buy a facial nair back in the early 2000's that worked so well on the upper lip. Wiped every bit of hair off in about 5 minutes without any type of pain or burns. I have been looking for it again, but could only find this one and another, which isn't the same as what I used to use. Thought I'd give this a try. There is a burning sensation, but it didn't even leave me red afterwards. And it's been a couple weeks since I used it, so no reaction after. It did a pretty good job at removing the hair on my upper lip, but I wish it was the same as the one I used to use. This one may not have gotten all the hair and didn't seem as smooth, but still worked well.

Easy to use!
It works quickly and removes fine facial hair effortlessly, leaving my skin smooth and soft. I love that it has hyaluronic acid—it feels more hydrating than other hair removal creams I’ve tried and doesn’t leave my skin dry or irritated. For anyone looking for an effective, gentle, and convenient way to remove facial hair, I highly recommend this product.

Not entirely pleased
I don't have a lot of facial hair, but a bit in the mustache area and some on the chin (this unfortunately happens to some of us ladies as we get older). I did two spot tests -- one in each area -- that came back fine. I waited a few days and then applied a thin amount of the product as directed to my chin and mustache line. The chin area worked fine, but unlike the Nair I use for my legs, the hair grew back quickly. So basically, it's not worth it for my chin. My mustache line was a different story. Despite the test, my skin reacted and was red and inflamed. By the next day, it had returned to normal. And, like my chin, the hairs grew back quicker than expected. I followed the directions carefully and believe I applied it properly and did not leave it on longer than instructed. For some people, I'm sure this is a wonderful product, but unfortunately, it's not for me.
