Replacement for 953XL Ink Cartridges Multipack with Newest Chip for 953 XL Compatible for Officejet Pro 7740 8218 8710 8715 8718 8719 8720 8725 8730 8740(Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)

I have been using Tomokep ink cartridges in my HP 8730 for some time now. I find the print quality excellent - even the colours seem more vibrant to me. They always arrive quickly, are well packaged and fit my printer perfectly. They seem to last well too. The most important thing is that these are a fraction of the cost of genuine cartridges.A few people have mentioned that their printer threw up a message to say that the cartridges were blocked because they contained a non-HP chip. I actually received the same message a few weeks back. I had used the printer with the same cartridges without problem one evening, but the next day, I received the non-HP chip message.At first, I thought one of the cartridges had become faulty so I installed a brand new set of Tomokep cartridges. Unfortunately, I still received the same message.This didn't make any sense to me as the printer was working fine the previous evening. I did some digging around and noticed that my printer had automatically installed a firmware update overnight (I foolishly forgot to disable automatic updates in settings. Having a look around in the internet, it seems like a lot of people had the same problem. So far as I could see, the only "feature" the update provided was to block non-HP cartridges. Pretty sneaky of HP but not surprising I guess, considering the ridiculously high price of genuine cartridges.So, having had another look online, I found plenty of tutorials on how to roll back the firmware to a previous version. This is a pretty straightforward procedure and only took about 5 minutes to complete. The end result is that the non-HP message was gone and I was able to use the non-genuine cartridges again.It is probably worth making a note of your current firmware version before you perform the roll-back so you can compare. Oh - and don't forget to disable automatic updates on your printer or you will soon be back in the same boat again.Hope this helps :-)

Great product, quickly delivered and works perfectly.

I swapped out the black ink cartridge as it was depleted. Followed instructions to get ink cartridge to be recognised by printer. Even restored printer to factory settings. Still the printer didn’t recognise the cartridge. Went into web service admin page and printer listed and recognised my colour non HP cartridges but didn’t recognise the black ink cartridge.Very dissatisfied as I tried to get in touch with the seller but I haven’t had a response.

My HP printer was refusing to work when I installed some Kingjet cartridges which I had kept in stock for a while so perhaps the chips were not current. Kingjet had always been really good. The printer message read that it would only accept genuine HP cartridges and was blocking non-genuine. I ended up buying a new printer as I was not prepared to buy genuine HP cartridges which are incredibly expensive and be told by HP what I had to use in my printer!.However, my HP printer is very good and so I decided to give it one more go with these cartridges as I saw that they had worked for other buyers. I installed them and the screen just read something like non-genuine ink ...quality may not be as good press OK to continue. They worked immediately and so far are very good. Also very good price.

Great product, very much value for money.

I was with HP Instant ink for about 3 years paying a monthly fee of £0.99 and later £1.99 every month. It was totally uneconomical for me to continue this due to the very low number of pages I printed each month. So I decided to stop HP Instant ink and buy the cartridges when I needed them. However, when I saw the price of HP cartridges, I nearly fainted. No way was I going to pay over £150 for a set. Daylight robbery in the extreme. So I started looking at other cartridges that would fit my OfficeJet 8715. I chose Tomokep 953XL cartridges after studying the reviews and at a fraction of the price of the HP ones. I have to say that I am thrilled to bits, not only with the price, but also with the quality of print - I couldn't tell the difference. They were easy to install, no problems whatsoever, put them in, and away I went. I totally recommend these cartridges and this company.

Cheap and better than full price ink from HP. But they sometimes will not work so I remove the ink and place into existing empty HP cartridges.

Very good product. I’m pleased with it. I’ve purchased it in April 2023 and only ordering another set now (October 2024). The quality is great, print like the HP ones for a fraction of the price.
