Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack

Great game. It comes with all the dlc from the 3DS version and both Azure Striker Gunvolt 1 and 2. The controls are easy and simple to pick up. You pick your levels like an old Mega Man game but the challenge is good in an old-school 90s gamer “not going to hold your hand way” but not cheap or too hard to the point where one will want to quit unlike some of the old Mega Man games. The story is also better than most games of its type. I highly recommend this game.

A good game overall and if you can buy it when it's on sale for $30 it's definitely worth its value. If you're someone who casually plays and doesn't have the time to put in 100 plus hours in a game every week like other games than this would fit the bill. You could have a quick 20-30 session of trying to beat your personal best while still enjoying it. If you are a fan of Mega man games then this is a easy buy.

The Azure Striker games are really good platformers that have a lot of action, good music, a little cliché story and hours of replayability, also, the difficulty settings help those who aren't skilled enough so they can beat the game. There are some minor technical issues with the port that (as of this writing) aren't solved like a minor drop in the framerates, but is overall near perfect. The fact that you have acces to the DLC content is something nice too. It also arrived early, by the way.

Inticreates outdid themselves with these games and gave us some of the best high speed 2D action games out there. You can definitely see the MegaMan influences in the games (makes sense considering Inti's work on the Zero and ZX series) but I feel it does enough different to stand on it's own with Gunvolt and Copen's tagging mechanics, j-pop, and the huge emphasis on score. If you like 2D action games I highly recommend checking this out! (although I will urge MegaMan fans to not go into this expecting a one-to-one MegaMan clone, if you do you will most likely come out disappointed, instead take it as its own thing.)

I love the little throwback style games to when I was a kid and this game bundle is no exception! The first game was fun and inventive. The sequel introduced a new playable character and fixed some of the, or at least in my opinion, control issues. When I played the first one the controller didn't seem to respond as well as it did in the sequel. It could have just been that I was much better when I got to the sequel, but I doubt it. It could also have been that playing as Copen rather than GV was more my style. Either way this is a great bundle of games for the Switch, particularly if you enjoy a retro esque side scroller.

I played these on the 3ds and they mostly play the same here. These games have great characters, a good story, a bad ending and the bitter sweet ending. I recommend this to fans of action platformers, the Megaman franchise, and good games.

No dlc is included with this pack and you cannot get them so they are forever lost on 3ds

These games are in the same vein of the Mega Man X series, so you really can't go wrong with it if those are the kinds of games you're into.

Aunque originalmente jugué estos juegos en 3DS, esta versión más reciente me pareció una mejora considerable por 4 detalles: 1.- poder usar un control tradicional 2.- Los dos juegos en un solo cartucho (los de 3DS los conseguí digitales) 3.- jugarlos en una televisión 4.- jugarlos a 60 cuadros por segundo Hay que tomar en cuenta, sin embargo, que gráficamente los únicos elementos que están en alta definición son los textos y los retratos de los personajes. Todo lo demás está estirado para abarcar la pantalla, y el efecto de pixelación es algo que podría gustarte o no, dependiendo de cómo lo veas (a mi gusto, el juego sigue siendo una joya artística). Si eres fan de Megaman (sobre todo de Megaman Zero) ni lo pienses, vale la pena.
