Quality of these bases susprised me. Very sturdy and look awesome. They finish is very durable and simple to install. Had no issues holding 6x6 post. Compared to store brought bases these were a lot better value at the price point.

Brackets review
These look great. You just have to be extra careful when sliding posts into these. The brackets are thin and will break if excess pressure is applied to them.

Very nice order 4 boxes they look very nice on my dock . Would recommend to buy .

Piece of cheap fertilizer
Pros: 1) hopefully it works. Cons: 1) the anchors are 3/8 and hole will only fit 3/8. Pictures are wrong. 2) anchors again are 2” tall. Meaning only about 1.5” max will be in the concrete. Not ideal for 6x6 and does not work with city code. I had to buy something else. 3) sleeves aren’t 1” up from ground, thus doesn’t pass code unless you get pressure treated lumber. 4) sleeves do not fit common 6x6. You need to plane off about 1/8”-1/4” from each side. Why the variable? Because sleeve inside diameters are all different. 5) made up of cheap metal. So cheap that it cracked as I was trying to level this. 6) “SDS” screws aren’t “SDS”. Cheap metal coated with zinc. For structural, you might want to buy different screw. All in all, I did not save any money. I should have just bought Simpson strong-tie post based. Now I’m going to have to reinforce this with you pray that wind/earthquakes won’t knock down my pergola. .
