Works fine for my purpose, using the built-in memory profiles presented no issues and performance is good.

Upgraded to this MSI Pro w I7-14700k from an Asus Prime I7-10700k The MSI was much easier to install and get up and running than the Asus. Exponentially faster, 6.0 wi-fi, 68mg memory, has been excellent as my wife's business pc.

Good inexpensive intel motherboard with MSI quality

I've built 5 PCs all of the same quality and this MSI motherboard was hands-down the worst experience out of all of them. The DIMA slots were non-functional which we didn't figure out till the end. The wifi wasn't enabled by default and needed to be installed into the mobo--how is that even possible in today's age?? And the latching mechanism of the CPU socket was too tight for the i5-12600k and most likely caused the DIMA memory slots to POST. I am sticking with Asus or Gigabyte, I'm going to be kicking myself for going with MSI for a while. Wasted a whole night and ruined the timing of a good present for my sister. UPDATE: I ended up getting an Asus Z790-P Wifi mobo and used all of the same components from the prior setup. It worked fine and noticably the CPU latching mechanism put less stress on the CPU. Still had to install a wifi driver after skipping past Windows 11 setup but the computer is working great now. Still did not get a refund from MSI yet. UPDATE 2: They gave me a full refund so I bumped the rating from 1 to 4. It ruined my night but I am more likely to buy from them again now.

This motherboard is excellent and I don't know why the other reviewers say it's not 14th gen ready it is although there is another bios updates since they installed the buyers at the factory so I installed that also but I was able to install Windows without doing the BIOS update first this board has everything you want it has a place for two onboard drives and many say the connections for additional SATA drives it has a lot of connections with just about anything you want to do this word is of high quality and I had no issues with it whatsoever I think anybody that has issues with it must have done something wrong it looks great and it's stable and I would recommend this board to anyone looking for a high-end war that doesn't cost a lot
