Looks high quality
I picked up the MSI MPG A1000G PCIe 5 power supply to future-proof my build, and the quality is immediately apparentโitโs solid, well-built, and feels incredibly robust right out of the box. Iโm still waiting on a few more components before I can finish assembling my PC, but first impressions are excellent. It comes with plenty of connectors and generous cable lengths, making installation hassle-free. Cable management is a breeze, too, which helps keep the build clean and organized. Overall, it looks like a reliable PSU that should serve my setup well for years to come.

PSU with Future-Proof Features
I picked up the MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 for my latest build, and itโs been nothing but solid. It has more than enough power for my setup (7800X3D + 4070 Super), and I got it with future upgrades in mind. Build Quality & Design: First impressions out of the box were greatโfeels premium, and the matte black finish fits in nicely with the rest of my build. The fully modular design makes cable management way easier and cleaner, and the included cables are good qualityโnot stiff or cheap-feeling. Performance: So far, no coil whine, no instability, and absolutely zero issues under load. It powers everything smoothly and runs quiet, even when gaming or rendering. The 80 Plus Gold efficiency is a nice bonusโkeeps power usage and heat in check. PCIE5 Support: One of the main reasons I went with this unit was for the native PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR cable. Itโs ready for next-gen GPUs without needing adapters, which keeps things tidy and safer in the long run. Definitely feels future-proof. Final Thoughts: If youโre building a high-end system or just want a reliable PSU that can grow with your setup, this oneโs a great choice. MSI nailed it with this unitโquiet, efficient, powerful, and well-built. No complaints at all so far.

Good Solid Power Supply
Iโve been using the MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 for a few weeks now, and so far, itโs been a solid performer. It supports PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 standards, which is useful if you're planning to run newer GPUs that require the 12VHPWR connector. Having that built-in is definitely convenient. The build quality is good, and the modular design makes cable management easier. The included cables are decent quality and long enough for most mid- to full-tower builds. It's also quiet โ the fan rarely spins up to noticeable levels, even during gaming or heavier workloads. Efficiency is in line with its 80 PLUS Gold rating, and I havenโt experienced any stability issues so far. Itโs not the cheapest option out there, but for those wanting a bit of future-proofing, itโs a good solid option, I bought another one for my second rig. Overall, it's a dependable power supply that does what it claims without fuss. Not flashy, but gets the job done.

A clean and good psu overall
A good psu with nice clearly marked connector areas and a dedicated 12 2x6 power cable slot. The cables are generally nice to work with and slim, but I would say the 24 pin motherboard connector is too bulky and thereโs not a lot of manoeuvrability with the rubber end being so close. Was quiet and worked really well no major issues.

A solid consuistent peformer that gives you everything you need at a competitive price.
A solid 1000w power supply that will take you up safely to the 5080 series and everything the Red Team currently have to offer. The Cable are of high quality and feel very solid, and I trust the MSI branding to provide top performance and longevity. The 12v output can be used to power traditional PCIE out of older generation Graphic cards, for example RDNA3 as a 12v to 2x PCIE cable is included.. At the time of purchase this was competitively priced for a 1000w supply. While there are cheaper options they were not from brands I heard of. A nice touch is the zero fan mode when your just working on the spreadsheets rather than taking down stormtroopers, droids and Bedlam Raider.

Future proofed, Efficient and high quality
I recently upgraded my system with the MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 Power Supply Unit in mind. From the moment I opened it, the quality and robust build were immediately obvious. Unmatched Stability and Performance: My system has never felt more stable. Even under heavy loads with a demanding CPU and a power-hungry GPU, the A1000G delivers consistent, clean power. PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 Ready - With dedicated PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR connectors and ATX 3.0 compliance, it's perfectly equipped for the next generation of graphics cards. Whisper-Quiet Operation: Despite its massive 1000W capacity, this PSU is incredibly quiet. Fully Modular Design - The fully modular design allowed me to use only the cables I needed, drastically improving airflow within my case and making cable management an absolute breeze. The included cables are high-quality, flexible, and easy to work with, contributing to a clean and professional-looking build. 80 PLUS Gold Certified Efficiency: Not only does it provide ample power, but it does so efficiently. The 80 PLUS Gold certification means less wasted energy, lower electricity bills, and less heat generated inside my case. It's a win-win for both performance and peace of mind.
