This case is lightweight and robust with nice features.
This case is lightweight and robust. Fits my Yamaha C40 Classical Guitar nicely. Its has a side carry handle and shoulder straps for carrying on your back. The shoulder straps are not the best but they do the job. It has a double zip so can be locked with a padlock. It has a smooth velvet like lining so will be soft against your guitar. It has a large outer zipped pocket for papers and a small inner compartment which I store my tuner and capo in.

Great Case
This case is very sturdy, I would trust it to protect my guitar more than a hard case due to the foam padding. The foam is very rigid, encloses the guitar on all sides and would definitely provide protection to the guitar in the event of a drop. The interior also has a fur maternal inside which is nice. It fits my strat perfectly, aside from the fact you cannot store the guitar with a strap on sadly as there is very little clearance (which is still good as the guitar can't wobble around inside). There is also a handy mesh pocket on the front which I use to store my whammy bar and an instrument cable. Overall miles better than a soft case and possibly even hard cases!

Amazing
Amazing quality, this gives me the reassurance that my instrument is well protected when travelling. I got this in the sale on Amazon and it was a complete bargain, I would have been happy to pay the full price, as it is really something you would put an expensive banjo in it. It's light in weight and looks very nice, the pockets are useful and the inside lining is padded very well. Im so glad I got this instead of my soft case I previously had.

Fits long-neck 24 fret Epiphone SG
This is another excellent polyurethane case. I have another one for Strats. I needed a lightweight case that protects the guitar well. For this you cannot beat the PU cases. This one was specifically for a 24-fret Epiphone SG (Modern) and it's a perfect fit for this long-neck guitar. Highly recommended for carrying and gigging, and protects you guitar even if you have to check it in as plane luggage (tested).

Great alternative to a gig bag, but not as strong as a regular case.
I've got a lot of love for this product, I bought one for my bass after being very impressed with the guitar version. It has a nice snug fit, surprisingly plush interior and a good amount of storage. Fits my 5 string Jazz bass perfectly, giving plenty of room for the offset tuners at the top.The draw of this case is that it offers the light weight and extra storage of a gig bag (front pockets are great for sheets/books) but gives much more protection from knocks and drops, all at around the same price. My bass is on the heavier side, so the light weight of the case is ideal. It's worth noting that this won't offer the same amount of protection as a regular wood/moulded plastic case - Amazon had to send a replacement (all handled quickly and neatly) as the first arrived with one end of the case impacted, and with the foam broken the case not longer sealed properly. Both times the case was only sent wrapped in a thin plastic covering, so I think this shows how road worthy it is.

This is a very well made and designed case. To me it feels premium and I am a difficult to please customer.5 Stars.

I bought this case to house a new Spector ReBop ...
I bought this case to house a new Spector ReBop 5-string bass. For about twice the price of this Gator case I could have bought a purpose-made Spector case, but this had the brand name on the outside and from a security viewpoint I prefer not to advertise what make of bass is inside a case, as this can attract unwanted attention at gigs etc.The Spector ReBop 5-string has a 35” scale that fits this case no problem. It also has a curved body that means the overall body thickness is too much for some cases. Whilst the body thickness did not fit the Gator case straight away; the foam in the bottom of the case can be compressed where needed, so I carefully used my knee to create some indentations to allow the curved body to sit lower in the case. The bass now fits snugly and the extra indentations I have made help stop it from moving around inside the case when it is closed. This is the first one of these cases I have bought, but the build quality looks to be first-rate so I’d have no hesitation in ordering another of these for any of my other basses.

Does this need a review?
The one and only option for loads of foot travel, does it need a review? Your going to buy it either way, but yes it's what you think it is, light, tough and holds a guitar. The straps might one day break (plastic clips), but it's fabric so it can be sewn on.

Excellent case.
Excellent cases. Because they're soft, they have a lot of crush zone to protect your guitar. Kind of like a soft styrofoam helmet, with a canvas-like material on the outside, holding it together. I imagine that this case would protect a guitar much better than a solid case, if dropped onto concrete.

Great solid case
I got this case for my S-V Vintage tenor banjo, and it fits really well. Definitely well worth the money. Love having straps to carry. Typically banjo cases are slightly unwieldy.
